I like the idea of K'thir 'spy' cards, where they're more useful in hand/deck rather than being played.
Does somebody remembers if Hex Lord Malacrass can give you The Coin? Cause is added to your hand at the start of the game, so I don't know if counts as your oppening hand or not. (Also the fact that Malacrass says "Opening" and Whelp says "starting" confirms that the HS developments dosn't talk to each others)
The cards looks nice. The Golem is the one that...I can't actually see in constructed, maybe for a super specific Twist format, but the rest at least can be used for some fun decks.
Yes, The Coin counts as a card in your opening hand.
It's possible they mean different things. Maybe Opening means the hand before the coin and starting means the hand after the coin. We'll have to see.
Malacrass did NOT take the coin into account, it was your mulligan before the coin or first card draw so likely the whelp will do the same, so really it's just a value generator if you either got shafted with a high cost card in your opener or you chose to be greedy with a high value one or just solid if you held onto removal or a key early card for your deck which is still helpful later on
These cards seem actually pretty interesting.
This meta will be really toxic,
The reveal is way better than the cards.
Does K'thir work with Harvester of Envy and Theft Accusation, even though it doesn't say copy in the card text? In that case it might be playable.
Projectionist also seems interesting.
I assume it works like Chameleos, and if thats the case then it works with The Harvester of Envy.
But I can't tell why they choose to don't use the word "copy". In other cards game you could assume for the text that you steal the card from the deck, cause *this* card transform in *that* card. But i'm a 100% sure it means that it turns just into the same card, and that counts as a copy.
I'll use whelp and projectionist in my hero power Druid for even more hero power.
Very cool cards. If it weren’t for the titans this would have been my favorite set.
Angry Hellhound is broken.
Will end up nerfed
Isn't kinda like a better Militia Commander ? I think that the card is fine, but I can't imagine that they nerf the card.
If your opponent has two 3/3s you can kill one, and then your opponent can trade their 3/3 with your 2/2. Looks pretty alright to me.
Whelp is actually gonna be super slept on, calling it now.
It's literally just a better 3 mana 4/3 Battlecry: "Draw a card" (But even better because it doesn't push you to fatigue."
Any card in your starting hand is a card you wanted in your deck, so it's a good card.
no it will be bad...why run an extra card where u can play a good card in ur deck instead of the dragon.
Well the thing is, there are some card that you just wish you had multiple of, for instance copying a legendary minion or maybe a cheap spell that generates value.
The same reason any deck plays any card that is Discover or draw....They give you more of your good cards.
This is like saying "Why would blood dk play their 2 mana 2/3 Discover a blood card when they could just run the good blood card."
This logic is....
celestial projectionist looks like a combo\miracle piece, others are pack fillers
I hope other cards gonna be more interesting :(
