I never comment on this site, and I rarely netdeck, but I'm working on golden rogue and since the release of MSG I haven't been able to win shit. This deck is outstanding, and quite frankly the most fun I've had on Hearthstone in weeks. 10-0 right now on ladder. Thanks OP.
PS: For anyone having trouble, tempo tempo tempo. If you don't know how to tempo, play a different deck.
Punish short games/reward long games (length in turns, not minutes). For example, no win streak rewards when the game ends before turn 10, extra star when the game goes on for x+ (10? 15? 20?) turns, more gold rewards (would be easier to implement if we got 5 gold/win). Maybe 1 gold for each 3-5 of your turns?
How about remodeling The Coin to solve this "problem"?
Blue Coin: Gain one mana this turn. Red Coin: Your hero is immune for the first three turns. Yellow Coin: Draw two cards.
Often, when playing a control deck, the coin just sits in your hand anyway until turn six, at least. This would allow you to mitigate a huge amount of damage from aggro decks, or, if you like, fish for Reno/removal a few turns later. If you are playing control and a Shaman pops up, for example, choose the Red Coin. If a priest pops up, the Red Coin is useless, and you can pick the Blue Coin as you normally would have for that late game Jaraxxus/Hero Power or Sylvanas/Brawl. For aggro, their choice will often be The Coin as is, anyway. I feel this option isn't as horribly broken as OP's suggestions. Not that Blizz is gonna listen anyway, but hey, let us dream, right?
Edit: Both players would get a coin but it would cost one mana for hero going first.
