posted a message on Reliquary of Souls Shaman (UPDATED)

What did they nerf that caused Shaman to drop? What i saw was over reacting way too early like we always see.

The only time i saw Shaman doing really well is when Blizzard added in those WILD cards for a month, then people were playing the rabbits and stuff using the 1 cost transmog card that could be repeated and brought back several copies with frog. After they took those wild cards back out Shaman was at the bottom, nerfs had nothing to do with it,unless people are as dumb as Blizzard thinking the murloc 2/1 was a problem ..sigh.

What i like about this deck builder dude is that he actually understands Shamans weak point, card draw and why Shaman is always at the bottom well 90% of the seasons it is.There is a very definitive weakness to this deck, the huge swing turn like a lot of decks have. This deck tries to rely on RNG with the weapon, that is not a reliable deck then ,fun yes, sometimes overpowering..maybe.If you finally get that big rng swing wit hthe weapon,a Rogue can simply sap and  use the 5 cost card that turns a 1/1 into 4/4 for more removal on top of likely already having board.Turn 6 if your not pressuring Rogue can easily just Togwaggle to get the wand for 0 cost cards then bounce him for FREE and do it again. My point is that this deck is giving other decks a long time to assemble their pieces and to get control of the game.Smart plaeyrs won't over commit to let this deck AOE all their resources.

BTW even now the HS team is not to bright or stubborn, the problem with DH was not cards needing nerfs,it is the 0 cost cards that have ruined the game since beta.Plus the fact there is no stack makes it easy to run face because your opponent has to wait to respond on THEIR turn.SO what happens with a stack is you let them play their cards, buff the weapon +8 then play a counterspell or an instant weapon kill card, there done,no dmg taken, proper pvp game play.

Warrior was running the ZERO cost card to buff a charge minion to basically otk the win,it is those 0 cost cards that are bad for the game.

posted a message on So, have the nerfs failed or not?

Before the nerfs happened the ladder, in my experience at least, was over 70% Galakrond Shaman. Now they seem to be much less frequent so I think the nerfs did the trick. There are still a couple on ladder but I don't face them as often as I used to. I actually don't think I've played against Shaman more than three times over the last few days and I've won all my games against them anyways. Plus, the power level of the deck was really toned down to a more reasonable level. The deck is still OK but it's not insanely OP anymore. I've found ladder to be much more diverse which is a good thing.

Nerfs weere good. Hitting Sludge Slurper was a great move imo. That card was seriously annoying and in almost every Shaman list out there.

You just proved that Blizzard did a terrible job with nerfs. The idea is BALANCE but they seem to always eliminate or nearly remove classes with nerfs.Slurper has NEVER been as strong as the 1/3 cleric, matter of fact no 1 drop is as strong as cleric but yet it remains in game untouched. All the nerfs have done is turn the vast majority to playing either Hunter or Rogue.

Furthermore Blizzard knew full well the cards they held back to add in the latest content expansion to sell us those cards, they knew full well those cards would buff other classes,so the nerfs were uncalled for.You do not as a quality team make hasty changes especially knowing there are cards still coming to balance the classes out.The community really showed it's ugly face when we typically saw CRY FOR NERFS the very same day the expansion released.

It is really sad as well seeing that EVERY single time Shaman gets a good roll it gets nerfed while other classes keep on rolling. If Shaman had a run of 10 straight seasons a top the ladder ranks it would still be the most underwhelming class since beta testing.

posted a message on New Neutral Card Revealed - Mortuary Machine

I would only use this card if i used galvenizer and silence. The easiest class i see doing this is Priest with a 0 cost silence ,so play this possibly turn 3-4.

Except there is a chance there is still cards like Hex...Sheep... Death...posion murloc....Equality etc etc and if done later game ,well yeah still a good 8/8 for 4-5 if silenced.Thing is most decks are built around synergy, battlecries, card draw otk etc etc, this would simply be a basic card with good stats for the cost and again IF silenced.

I just played a quest priest and i got this off of the omega card,no way was i playing it ever.Priest was using Muerte resurrect and other nasty stuff that would be a headache is had reborn.I was lucky to barely beat priest playing with no mistakes and Elysiana of which my priest also copied with 2 cost Seance.

Yes i understand how it would be quite good in a Warlock mill deck but i don't play Wild at all to know what is relevant there.

2x Carpet for what?Only the lackeys will utilize this.I think mistaken the 1 cost for 1 attack text?

To play it on turn 6/7/8 when you can just play better cards?Turn 4 piper is scary risky if draw the recruiter.

There is so little removal and nothing to fight for early game,so this simply won't work.

I feel the other version is better because that added topsy turvy allows one extra push which is often needed\.Also saboteur wrecked this deck but honestly Warrior beats this anyhow.Pld was also tough but likely my fault for not saving both omega to heal back but need exactly 26+ o survive which is why i played one medic to keep from falling below 25 and losing instantly,so smart players will beat this deck.

Mass dispel is good IF you draw it versus Druid which i did not draw it and anytime you play a 1 of the odds are pretty low of drawing it when needing it.

Pretty much losing to a lot except mech Hunter i beat.Nomi Priest with a good draw just pyromancers your board away.It can beat mage but i haven't faced any yet.Zoo beat me with an incredible draw and Demonbolt lmao, never seen that coming. It is like no matter what i played versus they had crazy answers.

Played a lot today and this has been my worst deck by a longshot.Much better success with Khadgar MAge,Token Druid and Zoo did very well.

Ok this is actually horrible as of today, rolled over by everything, just lost turn 5 to Rogue,i cannot keep anything on the board,Token Druid beat me turn 6 ,just feels like this deck is not remotely good enough right now.It ALWAYS depends on what your facing and right now i am facing decks that are crushing this.I feel like i could play Yheti's and Ogres and have a better chance.Might just be a horrible run of luck,i doubt it because i went like 20-4 with Mage, every single deck ive played of late has a winning record yet this i went 1-6.

posted a message on Murloc Shaman - Rise of Shadows

Has anyone tried breaking the synergy for a knife juggler?IDk what to remove, one raider for sure.I thought a lot about the poison,it is only useful to get through taunts because even an 8/8 can only trade into one minion and he is going to make that trade for you anyhow because your so far ahead, your not trying to play a long game with Murlocs. So if i was worried about taunts, per my actual games then yeah i could see 2x poison or even a Black Knight that is a bigger body than what 1 murloc would accomplish.

Then if worrying about stops,a weapon could be a problem to fight for board, especially the warrior weapon and a lot of warriors expected to be on ladder. My point is once you start changing your thought process from pure aggro to a hybrid of getting past taunts or weapons, your slowing the deck down.If anything,i feel there is not a real power curve but potential to actually run hand dry with no recovery. There is a bit of card draw in there an the staying power of the spell that generates 1/1 tokens,so idk haven't been that interested to test this since i don't see a build that looks promising once things settle down.

posted a message on [RoS] Control Fatigue Value Shaman *UPDATED*

I been trying to find a way to handle token druid ,it just keeps coming and with deathrattle a simple clear is not enough.

So has this deck been tested versus Druid? As to Hagatha it seems blizzard almost purposely puts in a ton of crap cards into the game to make rng a real bad option.

Also how does it do versus Warrior, soon they drop boom they have a steady value game with hero power. Also even spell Mage doesn't really care all that much about board utilizing spell dmg instantly with spells.

What gave Shaman a fighting chance was the heal spell that is now gone, that allowed you to wait one more turn for added value on clears and recover. The odds of getting that 1 heal card when you need it and still able to hold onto hagathas seems a bit low %.

posted a message on KRIPP Jepetto Spell Hunter

I was working on this deck myself then just got tired an logged out.As poster above mentions,i was going to use Toxmonger.Since the beginning of time Hunter needed card draw, now with no MC we are back at square one with this having no card draw to speak of.So piper may be a card to mulligan for and then what if Jepetto opening hand,do you toss him back knowing could be bottom of deck.

So then i have to wonder if Maly alone good enough ,what if silenced ,he really needs to be a 1 cost card to make this build potent.Priest has lived on Maly but cheats it out OFTEN,This build has only one cheat card,so this is going to be far inferior to priests otk of the last 100 years. Also what if jepetto just draws out one of the 1 drops, not like you can sit and wait forever to ensure Maly or Vereesa get drawn.

I do however like the idea behind this deck and why i was working on one myself.I wonder if Emeriss can be worked in to ensure another target for jepetto and maybe add one more biggie and lose a spell or two.IDk i'll have to try this build a few tiems to see how the curve works out and if it is consistent enough.

Well this deck actually worked first try and most decks listed do not,so i would say it works. You just have to take the advice seriously, save your weapon for the 20 and 10 stages.I saved heroic strike for the last push when he throws out Chillmaw, that way my next two turns my minions had smooth sailing.

Now mind you i did get both the 3/2 and the 5/2 weapons when needed or would have been a lot tougher,as is went pretty smooth/easy.btw i went card for card,i did not change any cards in this build.

Those who won first try were VERY lucky.

First up he puts your taunts to 1 health all the time and his minions are more resilient,so yours ALWAYS die and his board just keeps getting bigger, until you have absolutely no chance.

BTW it is not all about silence, with circle of healing you have the same chance to immediately attack but like i said,he will die the very next turn with only 5 health. So the fact is you MUST get circle or silence right away and hope he only puts up minions that trade even up.At turn 5 he drops the 5/5 dragon so your guy is dead easily turn 5.You have to win this by turn 4 max and it takes all luck.

IMO keep reloading for silence and hope for luck.
