the ****** design on baku and genn are the stats on the cards, why do they have to be bad cards that add to draw rng? 99% of the time you want them to be the last card in the deck and that's ******** design rewarding only luck
you're complaining about draw rng in a card game? wtf
Odd Mage has to remove the best cards from the Mage arsenal, specifically Polymorph(mvp against Warlocks) is a huge hit but also other crucial spells like Blizzard, Frostbolt and so on.
I think big spell Mage can exist but they basically got no new cards from the expansion and have to rely on old cards.
Then we have elemental Mage which I doubt has enough power to beat the other classes since they don't do anything really unfair, like spawn multiple Doomguards in a turn or getting a 10 drop on turn 6.
When I play Curious Glimmerroot, I just pick the card I need. Otherwise, it'll be dead anyway. So there is nothing fun from watching me "fail" such a task...
Lol, what? How is gaining cards a disadvantage? Why would you purposefully choose the wrong card - for example, if you're playing vs tempo mage and pick Flamestrike instead of Fireball?
The OP talks like everyone plays the same netdecks where we know the exact decklists; but Glimmerroot's cards might (RNG of course) become harder to guess if you're, say, playing in a tournament with a couple of odd tech choices or changes to the popular decklists...I've had players guess wrong when playing against me and I was playing for example 1x Bonemare in Quest Warrior; they probably had that and some taunts or something more "normal" as choices.
In some matchups, lets say Control Warrior vs Control Priest, you might not want a shield slam since you can't use it or a shield block since the game might go to fatigue. There are some matchups where you don't want -1 handsize so you intentionally pick the wrong card from Glimmerroot.
This will be best in a Druid deck with loads of ramp, draw and defensive tools. Coldlights and Naturlize to fill their hand and play this when they have 10 cards.
I can see it work against slow decks and combo decks

Yeah Mage will suck.

Idk why they are pushing minion mage. Spells are the identity of Mage, if I want to play heavy minion decks I'd play other classes.

Good card? It's not good in either constructed or arena

spell Hunter is pretty much dead. The deck was weak to begin with though.

how often do non mill rogues go to fatigue? after shuffling it once into deck it's very likely you don't see it again that game.

There poorly statted 8 mana cost creatures make Evolve Shaman so much worse.

The problem is that if you play this on turn 8 you lose a lot of tempo so the opponent probably can easily kill whatever this pulls out.

Really cool card. If the opponent overextends you can clear board with Doomsayer

Where can we see the bonus effects
