If you can prevent the battlecry from activating you can actually go face with it, so it's not like rush at all. For example, recruiting it allows it to go face or if you destroy and resummon it with Carnivorous Cube it can attack the opponent.
I don't see many Shudderwocks, but I agree that standard BADLY needs a neutral anti-combo tech card. There's no worse feeling than knowing it's impossible to win a game no matter what you do.
That's the dumbest thing ever. Why should there be ONE card that beats an entire deck? This is the same reason Demonic Project has an awful design. If there are insta-win counters to combo decks then there should be insta-win one card counters to control decks.
I have to agree. Witchwood was a great expansion solely because the diversity on ladder. I also have a problem with the Boomsday theme. There are so many cool themes from WoW that they could implement in HS but they once again go for mechs?
The only thing I like from this expansion is Mecha'Thun and the legendary spells. I'm interested to see how the spells interact with cards from future expansions.
Probably the set I've been the least hyped over, the cards seem kinda boring. Mechs were always turning the game into Curvestone which isn't that interesting. I guess some people like that playstyle though
If your kingsbane lifesteal is ever relevant it means you'd already win just using Kingsbane, thus Mecha'Thun is useless in this deck. I don't think you should combine these two winconditions
I have made a version that uses knife jugglers instead of spectral pillagers which means you dont have to run Emperor Thaurissan since the combo is pretty cheap to pull off mana-wise, 9 mana to be exact. Have you tried that combo? I don't know which list is better since I don't have Soectral Pillagers
MCT is a good card, but not broken. Before placing 4th minion on board I always keep in mind MCT and imagine the worst possible outcome. If playing 4th minion will give me 25% chance of instantly loosing a game, I will skip.

A 3 mana neutral card that can instantly lose you the game is fine?

I think it's a good card. You can play it with a lot of Deathrattles or play it with spell damage minions to deal a lot of damage in one turn

Not even a demon so Skull of manari can't cheat it out. I honestly don't see the point of this card. Big warlock maybe?

It's really not hard to shuffle creatures back into deck, especially in Mage.

Seems pretty bad in Shudderwock Shaman. It'd be sweet if it wasn't an omega card.

It's funny how Kripp got to reveal Hallazeal way back and now he gets a very similar card

It seems nigh on impossible to successfully trigger his deathrattle tbh

This wouldn't be printed in Priest because of Auchenai Soulpriest and Embrace the shadows probably
