posted a message on Oblivitron or Boommaster Flark?

From what i see Bomb Hunter seems to be better on ladder than Mechrattle Hunter. On the other hand, from my experience deathrattle mech hunter is way more fun so i'll go for Oblivitron. Also Flark isnt as a staple card as Oblivitron in their decks.

Tbh realizing that FUCKING Malygos hunter is a thing it sounds just crazy to me. I am a hunter main and i am extremely happy and impressed by how the deck peforms. When ungoro came out i was excited becouse had a chance to stop flooding the board with beast and play on curve. It has been like that untill KoC where Spell Hunter was a unexpected good deck and untill WW when Recruit Hunter and then Deathrattle egg hunter ruled the meta.

People always said CONTROL HUNTER, heck no. But Rexxar DK proved them wrong and now Masters Call, Jepetto, Zuljin and Nine lives are keeping the class alive and away from trash tier. I love it

posted a message on No Maly Vereesa Hunter Deck Critique

I got a version similar to this with bloodmage thalnos vereesa and vargoth and isnt as good as it seems. The win condition is zuljin in particular. The only thing nice is Vargoth+Animal companion/ deadly shot and Unleash the beast. I often used thalnos for +3 spell damage while having Vereesa’s weapon equipped but the wepon gets often removed

i must admit that the jepetto version with maly alex and vereesa is pretty strong. I doubted for a few days if i should craft alextrasza, malygos and jepetto (4.8k dust gone and i had only 5.7k) and i dont regret it. The first day playing it i was disappointed becouse i lost to mostly aggro.

but yesterday i wanted to give it another try. I climbed from rank 13 to 8 with a winstreak (yesterday morning on the phone so i dont know exactly how many games ive played) then dropped to rank 9 (with another deck) and climbed back to rank 7 after playing 10 matchups ( 7 wins 3 losses ) *i played 50% vs aggro (2 token druid, a zoolock, 1 murloc shaman, and a tempo rogue) and 50% vs control (2 bomb warrior, 1 dragon warrior, 1 control shaman, and an immortal paladin)*

the deck falls short tbh against token druid but the other aggro decks are beatable. Its not the hardest dekc to play but it takes a bit of knowledge of using your resources in the most effective way. I won vs tempo rogue with maly in hand since turn 1 so drawing one or 2 minnions is not as bad as you may think

I hope i convinced you to give the deck a try. I will continue playing the deck this evening and try to climb to rank 5 with it

Guys i crafted the deck and i can say that i am not disappointed of it. Played 3 games with a firend and won 2(he played bomb warrior). It is kinda draw dependend but it is satisfying as hell when you pull the combo xd

which one did you try ? Kripp's or which I mentioned ? :) just wondered.

Simething similar as yours my only minions are jepetto maly alex vereesa and the rest of the deck contains Zuljin. I run 2x epxlosive trap as well. It is quite hard to win against token but its not impossible at all vs murloc shaman secret pally and beast hunter

i beat murloc shaman twice, once by outvaluin and once by vereesa + spells bcs i drew both maly and alex before jepetto but still won. Against beast hunter i lost becouse i played maly some spells and i was 1 off lethal (miscalculated becouse i had 8 mana and needed 9 to use HP) i could’ve win if i controled the bord for a little longer via some spells/ zuljin.

Zoolock and token druid ar by far the hardest matchups, warrior is pretty easy and the rest of decks are left to be tested out playing against

I swear when i played mechrattle hunter i queued into combo or control decks like warrior paladin heal druid etc. and now that i crafted malygos hunter i literally queued into 2 warriors and then only token druid Zoolock murloc shaman one beast hunter and tempo rogue. How r you supposed to beat those decks as a control deck. Redirect me to salt thread ffs

The 10-mana warrior mech 7/8 in stats that pulls a minion from your deck and give it a rush is pretty bad in my opinion. It's so expensive :(.

That, also Oblivitron and Lucentbark are cards I don't think will ever see play. Unless hunter gets a lot of deathrattle support later on.

Oblivitron already sees a lot of play dummy

posted a message on [RoS] Mechrattle Hunter

I did experiment with it and i am so happy with the results.

I dont use Nechromechanic, Wargear, Upgradable Framebot and only one Replicating missle.

Instead i use 2x Secret Plan (great with zuljin as well), 2x Marked Shot (one of my favorite cards), 1x Missile Launcher (crazy good magnetized to Venomizer *a 2 card combo board celar that isnt hard to pull* and he can also magnetize for more damage), 2x Bomb Toss.

From what i experimented Oblivitron is really great. You can play it even on turn 6 without being afraid of being killed by the opponet or silenced (becouse of nine lives). Worsst case scenrio he gets Polymorphed, Hexed or Sapped ( 3/9 classes got this ability). Getting a 2/2 and a 7/7 on the board is an incredible tempo swing and even Walling with Safeguard. For me is a staple card

The MVP of the deck is by far Nine Lives and a mentionable runner ups are Ursatron and even Zuljin.

For me Zuljin is a board and hand refiller ( getting two new mechs from Nine Lives in hand, 2x new Spells from Marked Shot, 2x new Secrets from Secret Plan and 2x new Unleash the Beast from pretty much Unleash the Beast). Not to mention that he can refill the board with potentially at least one 7/7 and at least 2 5/5 rush minions or another mech from the hand in case Nine Lives from Zul'jin picked Oblivitron.

I am still experimenting and i am open to suggestions and innovative ideas ! Hope yo find useful my decklist and playing plan. cheers
