I get what they're trying to do with the "themed look" but I really don't think it works all that well. At least in this case, it looks boring, washed out and flat.
Could've went with a cool foiled look or something. But the way cards are looked at in hearthstone probably doesn't work that well with that either tbf.

Disclaimer: I play in the ranked mode but that's only to accumulate wins on hero portraits. I am not concerned with my rank or playing the best decks out there. It really just depends how much enjoyment I get out of playing the deck. I am rather inconsistent on how quickly I get tired of decks, so it really just depends I suppose. My most played deck is probably an elemental shaman deck of all things. However, I suppose if you want a number on things... decks I enjoy, I play well over +300 even up to 500. Decks I don't find fun, I drop within a few games or never end up crafting.

Honestly, a lot of other people have been wondering the same things. So, thank you for asking, as Blizzard wasn't the most clear about it all.

I'm sorry you sort of wasted your dust here but we are going to be getting all the new core set cards for free, so it's not like you won't be able to play in standard after the rotation.

Lost to this deck like 4 times today. It's really really good

2 legendaries and 35 packs for $29.99 (American dollars)

Yes! I loved elemental shaman! It was actually one of my very first decks that I started to play and how I got my love for elementals. Glad you are liking it, best of luck to you.

I didn't even make this deck, but probably Kanrethad. This is because he has the ability to resurrect Envoy Rustwix and other demons as a prime. Sure, you could RNG Rustwix's deathrattle for Kanrethad prime, but it wouldn't be guaranteed.

Yeah, I happened to join hearthstone around the end of the Journey to Un' Goro expansion. Once all my cards finally ended up going over to wild, I crafted a lot of new cards from previous expansions to make my decks actually viable. It's not that that was a bad choice, or that I really regret it, but I will admit the dust would have been better spent otherwise.
What I recommend to you is buying wild expansion packs with leftover gold every once and a while. It's not a super huge commitment like spending your dust would be. Of course you run the risk of not guaranteeing the card you're looking for but over time opening more and more packs should help you start building a card base in wild.
Best of luck to you.

Right now it's doing pretty decent in the meta. The biggest problem I kept running into was that I was able to summon a lot of 8/8 elementals, but wasn't able to clear the board. That's when I incorporated Animated Broomstick into the deck.
I was a huge fan of elemental mage in the Knights of the Frozen throne days and was sad to see it go. The reason I made this deck was to see if I could make it work again. While I do love Frost Lich Jaina, I don't think the deck does well enough in ladder to justify crafting her. It's not that the deck does poorly per say, just that there are probably better cards you could spend your dust on than a card that has become less used as of late.
