posted a message on Nerf incoming?

Again,in my opinion to get rid of pirate warrior the best solution blizzard can came out with is a simply nerf that is not gonna involve any dust refund: Fiery War Axe. Can only attack minions. Bye bye 5/3 bloodsail raider on turn 2. Bgmye bye dread corsair played for free at turn 2/3. You wanna hi me heavily on the face? Wait at least your turn 5 with arcanite reaper, scumbag

posted a message on [Heroic] Free Medivh unwinnable for post-un'goro players?

The problem here is that I just started playing and I have no wild cards.

Edit- After some research, I realized I need to reach to lv 10 with all classes first before crafting wild cards, eh learned something new.

Mmm, i guess that malcheezar can be defeated only with some crazy combo, otherwise i dont see how can you compete with two 6-6 popping out every turn. You could try with a quest mage (not exactly cheap for a new player: 2 legendary, quest and antonidas and at least 7 epics: 2 doomsayer, 1 (or 2) cabalist tome , 2 ice block and  2 primordial gliph). Vs the orc will be hard to survive, even with the ice block and the freeze card, maybe is better try to burst the orc with spell like frostbolt, medivh valet and fireball (if i remember correctly the orc has only 15 hp) and then stall vs malcheezar until you dont have all the combo pieces.

Many used shaman with kelthzad and ancestrale call, i did it with a simple murloc paladin otk. Just stall the game, keep High Life, and don't start vs malcheezar before having both 2x warleader and bluegill dead. After that (and after you draw your anyFIN can happen) kill the orc, and when malcheezar wipes your board, play the first anyFIN (hopefully getting a Deathwing). You may still need more than One attempt, but it can definetely work

Would be nice. Early cards should help you develop your game rather than estabilish the board on their own and snowballing till the end of the match

posted a message on Murloc Warleader needs NERF

Warleader is perfectly fine as it is (no, i dont play murloc paladin). The atk boost higher compared to southsea captain is legit, considering that many murlocs are just 2/1, 1/2, 2/2

Freeze mage always had a horrible matchup against control warrior, and people still played it.

That's a lot different, freeze mage was an OTK that burst you from 30 to 0. Even a malygos rogue / druid can't do that. But we are not talking of combo decks. We are talking of a deck that in order to be defeated you have to play aggro or game over, because has 5 different 1 mana 5/5 charge (2 deckhand, patches and 2 boar) that can be bounced for extra damage and that stick on the board, if you don't deal with them next turn you are dead, if you deal with them (dragonfire potion or equality + consacration are both 6 mana and your turn is over) they fill the board next turn and you are at the same point as before, but you already used your removal and probably in the meantime your health went even more down

In the end, Blizzard has the data on how good the Quest Rogue deck is. I suspect it isn't nearly as pervasive or as good as the people here wanting it nerfed claim, otherwise we'd have heard Blizzard talk about it like they did Pirate Warrior.

While we don't have as a complete picture as Blizzard, data sources like DataReaper support your conclusion.
Quest Rogue's win rate considering all ranks in their data is only 48.62%, making it a tier 3 deck at all ranks except legend where it wins 50.39% of its games. That seems fairly balanced, though it is important to note for a lot of people posting here in this thread that the question of whether Quest Rogue is balanced is a different question than whether or not it is fun to play against, a point which some posts don't seem to recognize or want to acknowledge when it comes to discussing card balance.
Yes, but what is the winrate vs control? 80% ? The fact that i can click the concede button as soon they play the quest on turn 1 is crap. In order to win i have: draw all my answers (dirty rat, tarim, equality, peacekeeper), hope they draw shit. But this happen very rarely. If a game is decided from the beginning just because player A plays deck X and player B plays deck Y for me ie a huge issue and an indicator of something very wrong in the meta

posted a message on When's a good time to start saving gold for next expansion?

Im more or less like you. I got all common 2x, all rares but 2 in 2x, 9 legs and 24 out of 54 epics. There is still plenty of time before the new expansion hits, if you plan to do the pre-purchase there is no need to get worried and start saving gold, you can play arena and then stop a couple of weeks before the new expansion release. Prepurchase, 1.5k gold saved and the Daily login rewards where enough to get all common and almost all rares of ungoro. It will be the same for the next too, also there will be the solo content that is gonna give more free packs. I think i'll keep playing arena until i find 2-3 more legs (80 packs in 3 months is more than doable) hoping to pull out also 2 gentle megasaur, 2 rogue epic destroy an ally, second curious grimmerrot, second shadow visions, second primordial glipht, second primordial drake

The only right one is shadowstep. Dread corsair (as if pirate warrior was strong because of him) is useless, warleader is a buff, and hydrologist...ahahaha

Thanks god im seeing less and less quest rogue lately, but still, when i face them i hate it. People talk about how the deck can brick. How? When? When they play against me they always have quest completed by turn 5 with preparation. Such an idiotic deck.
"Do you play aggro? No? So i won"
"Wow, you are so skilled dude"
Pirate warrior is much much easier to counter (even if remains a cancerous deck), Jade Druid you have more than one chance with (they are slow and its easy draw badly with). But Quest rogue? Hordes of 5 - 5 charge hitting your face? No way. Fuck that shit.

posted a message on Is playing only 1-3 classes a good idea?

I would not do that, it would limit so much the possibilities. I played a lot of differenti decks: midrange shaman, chtun warrior, chtun paladin, token druid, miracle rogue, totem shaman, dragon paladin, renolock, Reno priest, now control paladin..the only two classes that i play only for quest reasons are mage and Hunter. Mage is still enjoyable, Hunter i hate him so much, but still, i keep the cards

posted a message on Crafting Regrets? Triumphs? What were your best and worst?

Ok, in eleven months of hearthstone:
    CRAFTED:
1 Ragnaros the firelord (0 regrets of course)
    2 Sylvanas (0 regrets)
    3 Tyrion (0 regrets)
4 Twin emperor veklord (not so many regrets, i had fun with him during the period everyone was playing chtun warrior)
    5) Ragnaros Lightlord (0 regrets)
    6) Nzoth (0 regrets)
    7) Leeroy (0 regrets, although i haven't really used it so much)
    8) Thalnos (0 regrets)
    9) Xaril (i regret it a bit, is not like i really used it so much)
    10) Jaraxxus ((0 regrets, probably my favourite card)
    11) Justicaar (a bit of regret, i never used it in control warrior, i only played her in OTK spawn of shadows priest for a bit, but it's iconic, so nvm)
    12) Chillmaw (i didn't really play a lot with it)
    13) Kazakus (0 regrets, second best craft after Jaraxxus)
    14) Raza the chained (i found him like a month and a half after i craft him, but nvm, during that time i had plenty of fun with it)
    15) Champion nexxus saraad (0 regrets, i know is far from being top tier, but is a very funny card, great in highlander priest,)
    16) Aviana (plenty of regrets, crafted after i opened kun and wanted to try chtun kun combo deck. Crappy decision)
    17) Aya Blackpaw (i know, strong card, but i dislike the jade mechanic, so i played really few matches with)
    18) Wickerflame Burnbristle (0 regrets)
    19) Shaku the collector (regret, card is nice, but i'm never playing rogue)
    20) Mage quest (regret, TTK deck is boring and not even strong, played like 30 matches and now is sitting in my collection unused)
    21) Priest quest (i might regret it only if i find a duplicate, cause right now quest priest sucks in standard, maybe i should have wait when it would become playable just in case i find a duplicate in the future)
    22) Spirit Singer Umbra (same for priest quest)
    23) Cairne (0 regrets)
    24) Herald Volazj (0 regrets, may not be super good, but is an interesting unique legendary)

    25)  BIGGEST CRAFT REGRET: tons of shaman commons and rare during my first month playing the game (i could easily have 2 leg more now)

    DUSTED
    1) Milhouse (0 regrets)
    2) The Bogeymonster (0 regrets)
    3) Shifter Zerus (0 regrets)
    4) The Skeleton Knight (0 regrets)
    5) Nozdormu (0 regrets)
    6) Garrison Commander (dusted and then recrafted for OTK priest) 300 dust loss
    7) Golden Abusive Sergeant (a week before they announced the nerf), 350 dust loss
    8) Golden Earth Elemental (i still need one)
    9) Golden Gadgetzan Auctioneer (may be a candidate for next Hall of Fame)
    10) Golden Ice Block (same as above)
