posted a message on New Legendary Card Reveal: Auctionmaster Beardo & Shaku, the Collector

Anyone noticed that in the cinematic trailer of MSG, at the very intro, as second card is shown a drop 3 3/1 that shows like an evil gnome throwing a red potion (red like the kabals)? I was thinking, could it be a warlock card saying something like? deal 3 damage to a minion? maybe even 4 "if you are holding a kabal card". What do you guys think?

Well, they still have to reveal 101 cards, but this looks already like a serious candidate to be the first card i'll craft in this expansion. Renolock ftw

posted a message on Yogg is no more then a fun card now

Im not gonna dust my yogg...is still great...is a card that you play when you are about to los, never when you are ahead. Is still good to try to win...and if polymorph itself with the first spell, well, ok, i was gonna lose anyway. But is still winning me matches (yesterday pyroblast and eviscerate for 14 DMG to to opponent hero).

Anyway, about Tuskarr: do you think it will still be played? Ok, 3 mana for hero power and stats of a 2 drop minion, with a saving of 1 mana, but is it gonna be worthed? The main problem with Tuskarr was Totem Golem, but wasnt better just to remove the totem tag to Totem Golem? Yes, there was still the chance to pull mana tide, or flametongue, but those are minion with 0 atk, easy to hande, and the chance to pull them would have been 1 out of 6. You can say that right now Tuskarr can be a 4-3 or a 3-5 for 3 mana and still be powerful, but out of a totem deck there could be now much better option for a drop 3. Actually maybe even in a totem deck (like the one i play) there could be better options.

IMHO: all the nerf were right. But while the most of the cards have been depowered, two have turn into crap: yogg and charge.

I think that yogg was impossibile to be nerfed into a FAIR card. Before could be or really good or really bad. Of course a card that could literally steal a win wasnt nice. Now why on earth should i play a 10 mana card that it could cast polymorph on itself as first spell and and my turn? Yes, some lucky guy will still steal victory with yogg, but most of the times will be played and will make you die faster. It just should have never been printed. It's been fun for sure (somehow i remember more the crazy yogg that made me win rather than the ones of my opponents who killed me).

The second card that turned into shit is charge, that since i started playing HS this june i saw only in worgen OTK deck (deck that i even used for a while, btw). Ok, it wasnt the strongest deck ever, but OTK decks are not a good thing in any tcg (and i used to play YGO, where 80% of decks were otk). Also, who knows, maybe it would have create a problem with some of the future cards in the next expansion.

In conclusion: im glad of all nerfs (even if rock bitter weapon and tuskarr are both Staples of my witch totem deck...i'll find a way to keep playing it). Hope we're gonna move into a meta of control and skilled decks :)

posted a message on How well are you prepared for the upcoming expansion?

Currently 1720 gold and 1250 dust. I started in June and i bought 50.000 amazon coins to quickly fill the gap. Now i can play competitively almost any class, and is my intention to switch to f2p.
By mid December i should have around 6200 gold, more than enough to get all commons, a good percentage of the rares and a few epics. The rest will come little by little.

posted a message on I would love to see someone defend Yogg-Saron in competitive play after seeing this video

If there is a card to complaint about is CotW, not yogg saron. Yes, sometimes i played it and i incredibly won lost matches; sometimes i played when i was losing and i just delayed my death by a turn; sometimes they played against me when i was in total control and i lost...and finally sometimes they played it against me and they still lost. If the question is "Does Yogg makes HS a less strategic game?" i would say yes, and was probably better if it was not printed. But is not OP. It can be, but it also can be crap. It's a coin toss. I dont see much more skill in paying 8, do 5 damage and spread 22 stats over 3 bodies...repeat next turn and enjoy your being such a skilled player.

posted a message on Ben Brode has no love for Rogue

Well, im a miracle rogue player. I have to say my worst matchup is by far vs Hunter. For every win i get against them i lose 5 times (at least). Maybe i can survive to both the cotw, but then they always have their f***ing kill command and the hero power wich is like a tixking bomb reminding you that is just a matter of time before you die. I tried the build with arcane giants and gangs up, but vs them is too slow, same vs zoolock. Is Pretty good anyway specially vs warrior and priests. The aggro version with leeroy and cold Blood ia giving me better results (i'm rank 11, nothing special, but using the arcane giants versione i was stuck at 14). It would be nice foe sure an additional AoE, that doesnt need thalnos o azure Drake to be effective, but even more would be nice some sort of card that (wait for it) makes your hero unattackable for a turn under certain circumstances. It may seems crazy, but in wow tcg there was actually a card with that effect, it was drop 1 and had an angoing effect, keeping him stealth until he dealt some damage (but still vulnerable to burst damage. Now, im not a card maker, i dontdont know how much a card like that should cost and wich restrictions should have, but if mage has Ice block that says "if you die you dont actually die" i dont think that a card like that would be too OP. Frustrating for the opponent, for sure, but hey, so is cotw.

posted a message on RANK 6 with crappy shaman in my first 2 weeks of HS, and now...

Hi guys. I'm quite a new players, i started playing HS in the mid june of this year. I'm currently stuck at rank 14/13, alternating miracle rogue, token druid and chtun warrior (without justicaar). Rank 13 is also been the highest i reached in July and August, using the same decks (actually before i was using mainly the chtun warrior).
What i really can't understand is: how the hell did i manage to get to rank 6 + 3 stars in my first TWO WEEKS ever as HS player? Ok, i wasn't totally new to the mechanics of the game as i am a former player of WoW TCG, but i'm not here to talk about my skill as a player, the point is, the decks i'm playing right now are pretty much complete (yogg druid complete, miracle rogue miss only xaril, wich i usually get from Jurney Below...probably chtun warrior without justicaar trueheart is the less complete) and the deck who got me up to rank six was...
well, something like this (i wish i remebered exactly the decklist):

    1x Earthshock
    2x Primal Infusion
    2x Rockbitter Weapon
    1x Stormcrack
    2x Totem Golem
    2x Flametongue Totem
    2x Stormforged Axe
    2x Tuskarr Totemic
    2x Hex
    2x Mana tide totem
    2x Unbound Elemental
    2x Lightning Storm
    2x Feral Spirit
1x Mukla's Champion (didn't have Thunder Bluff Valiant)
    1x Bloodlust
    1x Frostwolf Warlord
    2x Thing from Below

and (cherry on the top) 2X TOTEMIC MIGHT !!! No trogg, no doomhammer, no flamewreathed faceless.  I used to switch every now and then earthshock with lightning bolt or even fork lightning, or the Mukla's Champion with Fire Elemental, but still... HOW? Back then i was pissed off because i wanted to get at rank 5 so badly due the huge difference in rewards between 6 and 5, but now i realize i did some sort of miracle.
Also, if i managed to get to rank 6 with that crap, why i'm struggling to get past 13 with much better decks?
