You  hit the nail on the head with this.

one of the cool things about this kind of brawl is trying to find the interesting combos (like coin + flik)

3 days in now and I would haved thought the idiot no skill decks (pogo/jade/auto/soulfire etc) would have got their packs and sodded off by now, but Im still seeing them

Have enjoyed this brawl, mostly with priest

Reliquary of Souls and copy cards are quite fun, did quite well with Galakrond as well.

the point of the brawl is to find combos that make the game interesting , you would think that by Sunday all the moron decks would have taken their packs and gone home but I still just concede imediately when I see a Soulfire or a Pogo.

I agree, Blizz dont give a crap about brawl now, another random crap of crap waste of time, not even worth trying a few to get a pack.

case in point, Im at 20 odd heath, my mage opponent is at 5 and I have a board full of stuff.  His turn --- 1 cost Antonidas, FireSale, Fireball and a secret --   GG

I could think of a bundle of decent brawls they could do if they could be bothered....

Well surprise guys, another week with a random brawl of random......

why waste time designing cool constructed brawls ( only x cards duped, restricted costs, dust limits, old year
of xxx ) when you can resurrect random crap.

it's almost as if they are concentrating on the new mercs format the Activision suits are dictating (PROFIT PROFIT) rather than a cool thing that earns no money but could be fun for the community that they relegated to MODES.

Another random brawl of crap brawl.....

not as stupid as last weeks but still a "play 4-5 turns and then concede if you are not on top, move onto  the next one and stop when you have your pack" brawl

Honestly I can think of more interesting brawls on the fly, consider these....

What's mine is yours - every time you play a card a copy is put into your opponent's deck

Prime time - your deck can only include cards that cost 2,3,5 or 7 mana (you both start with 2 mana)

Church mouse - your deck can only have a dust cost maximum of 2000

I have no preference in either direction -  your deck can only contain neutral cards

The X is back -  your deck can only contain core cards and cards from year of the X

Whats your's is mine - every time you play a card you add a copy of the same cost from your opponents deck to your hand

There you go, what do you think

posted a message on What's with the taunt warrior bots?

2 months later and APAC is still riddled with them.

had one tonight a warlock with no cards > 2 cost, roping every turn,  I knew it was a bot because the code was too poorly written to realise I had a taunt minion on the board, saw repeated minions trying to fail to hit my face.

maybe Blizz will do something about it, or maybe they cant because they dont actually run the APAC region  market (subcontracted), dunno

Interesting idea but the problem is they didnt test it internally.

If they had they would have quickly seen that 10 mana from the start + QuelDalar does not make for a fun experience.

I got like 7 Shaman matchups before I was able to win to get my pack (thanks to Frostbolt)

There are people who just get salty when they lose, you can tell this when they are in an impossible position and instead of ESC GG concede they just rope.   These guys tend to be cocky with the emotes at the start of their game running their super aggro deck.  Dont be these kids people.  Play aggro if you want but expect to hit the wall sometimes and concede.

Then there are the rope every time pretending Im AFK so that you flood the board with stuff only to AHA AOE you on turn 5 or 6 ppl.  These are easy to suss once you have faced a few.  Dont be these people either mainly because its just stupid.

But the game is plagued at the moment with actual bots ( mostly in APAC region as far as I have seen ). They rope every time but use their HP to avoid the 15s turns.  Ive reported a few but I havent seen them reducing in number since they turned up this season.

It kind of depends which region you are in, they are way more prevalent in APAC I dont know why.

as I write this post am playing another one the HP ropey warrior one.  Its the less imaginative version of the genre.

I got a really "clever" bot last night, a mage.  as per usual every turn to the rope.

Turn 1 coin apprentice (my turn 2 I backstab it)

    Turn 2 ....   Evocation..........
