I played a game in the Brawl today against a warrior... he made legitimate plays as soon as his turn started, spent his mana, seemed real.
Then roped.
Every turn.
This doesn't seem like a bot to me. Is it just a JERK?
I gotta be honest, this is the kind of thing that is going to make me annoyed at HS. But how would Blizzard even fix that? People should be allowed to take their time and think. But to do this on purpose when you don't need to... uhg.

People are only doing it because Blizzard encourages them to do it by designing a system in which you are rewarded more by afking than playing.

They could replace XP/minute with XP/turn and cap it at 8xp/minute. Problem solved!
I was thinking about whether or not there were bots in this game over the last few days. The dead opponents that just rope you make sense for MMR. You could reach a floor then have a bot lose a bunch of games for you to lower your MMR. Then make a run for the next floor.
Shame on anyone doing this. May the farts of your dogs occur often and bring forth furious vengeance upon your nostrils.
I played against a bot that was an Odd Hunter that would just hover Hero Power every 5 seconds and on its turn it would activate it then rope. Very frustrating. A lose lose for the player

That's not true: people have been roping for no discernible reason for years. Playing a DH? I'll rope you. Playing priest? I'll rope you. Beating me? Get a great topdeck? yada, yada, yada.
But the fact that you earn xp per minute rather than per turn is making it worse.
I see bots frequently, especially when I tank my MMR (by principle of not playing broken classes).
Is it a problem? Yes--obviously. But I am glad it's happening because it means a lot of lost revenue for hearthstone. With the new rewards system generating gold up to level 350, every expansion. The bots are generating ludicrous amounts of gold (relatively ad-infinitum, with XP gained regardless of match outcome or participation) and that means the bot handlers can buy packs every new expansion without having to dip into their own pockets. So blizzard's dereliction to attend to the matter is to their own detriment.
There are people who just get salty when they lose, you can tell this when they are in an impossible position and instead of ESC GG concede they just rope. These guys tend to be cocky with the emotes at the start of their game running their super aggro deck. Dont be these kids people. Play aggro if you want but expect to hit the wall sometimes and concede.
Then there are the rope every time pretending Im AFK so that you flood the board with stuff only to AHA AOE you on turn 5 or 6 ppl. These are easy to suss once you have faced a few. Dont be these people either mainly because its just stupid.
But the game is plagued at the moment with actual bots ( mostly in APAC region as far as I have seen ). They rope every time but use their HP to avoid the 15s turns. Ive reported a few but I havent seen them reducing in number since they turned up this season.
Anyone seeing more bots? I have seen a couple Warriors just armor up and then rope every turn until they die.
yes, the bots are still in
at least with demon hunter they just die
MAN WHAT A NICE IDEA! I WILL STaRT TO DO THIS BUT WITHOUT BOT - BETTER THAN PLAY THE GAME ANYWAY
The game is riddled with rope bots because the way the pass has been (badly) designed. You get more XP for longer games.

Bots are still definitely a thing in heartstone. I just met one in my ranked game and it was frustrating to wait till he finishes his turn.
You can see the bots behaviour is reacting well.. I wouldn't even know it's a bot if it passed the turn every time.

"Job's Done" should could it's own rope. Maximum 10 seconds to look at the state of things, then End Turn.
You... You wanna buy a funnel cake?
It’s a ducking bot. I ran to the exact same problem, but in wild.

Hey guys , how do you report a player that is botting ?
I believe the email is something like hacks@blizzard.com but someone else may have a better recollection than myself
