It can be a worse deadly shot, but it has synergy with death rattles and eggs specifically. Warlocks have generally been the ones to run eggs in their decks as zoo can pump minions, so having a way to sacrifice your eggs and kill a minion is insane if you build your deck right.

Apparently people on the Hearthstone website don't like playing hearthstone.

Just because the average is 53% doesn't mean everyone playing the deck will have 53% win rate. Different people are better at different decks, as it should be, but the fun in hearthstone is trying to figure out what you're good at playing (at least for me). When I get to rank 5 I know its going to be a grind, and at first, when I don't know what deck I want to play it is somewhat frustrating. I try many different decks to see what I like and do well with, and surprisingly its not always the #1 deck everyone says. Finding the deck that you're good enough at to get a 70ish% win rate is what gets you to legend in a reasonable amount of time, and if it happens to be aggro shaman or w/e is good, go for it. Its not fair to assume that everyone is of the same skill, especially in higher ranks where every decision matters, so its unfair to assume everyone will have similar win rates.

I will say this though, I do think it is a little stressful that without winstreaks it takes a long time to get legend, for me its generally around 30 hrs. In my opinion if we just removed the fact that when you go down a rank you go to x minus one stars (where x is the full number of stars for that rank) because that is really what makes people stress out, when they are on the border between ranks and the game matters twice as much as it did previously.

Anyways sorry for the long message :P I just wanted to share my opinions

 Dragon priest is already bad but when you take out dragons it just ruins the consistency, in 10 games I rarely had an activator for dragon synergy cards and instead had a mindblast or velen. Not saying deck sucks outright (may have just been hella unlucky) but I'm definitely not playing it again. Good job on rank #8 legend though :)

A very powerful effect that wins has high potential to win game, had to make it legendary because if you could chain two in a row you would automatically win 90% of the time.

Card is fair though because it costs 9, rewarding priest for surviving against aggro.

This secret is just mean to be another way to negate damage that your opponent would deal, like Noble Sacrifice, but instead has more synergy with weapons and Stampeding Kodo.

Also, couldn't quite get a picture for the card that matched the design feel but its still some damn good art!

First of all, Hearthstone lacks good pay off for playing heavy control decks. This card is meant as a reward for a controlling paladin who has survived against an aggro deck for many turns and even against combo decks that use cards such as arcane giant.

One important part to mention is that when the board becomes "balanced" (I didn't want to completely balance the board because you would simply never play creatures and that would cause a basically unwinnable fatigue for non-combo decks) all minions except the longest surviving one will die as the minion slots are reduced.

This card is meant to be an homage to mtg's balance because I think it's a hilariously broken card, yet this version is a lot more balanced, and I'm not sure making it cost less would be wise, unless I wanted every game to go to fatigue.

 I like how I immediately get paired with control warrior as soon as I wanna try this deck. FML, it's not even that popular of a deck.... I now this decks fault though, just my shit luck -_-

Priest doesn't have too many early plays so why not set up for your future turns on turn 2 instead of healing your opponent's face!

I've been playing with the deck and I just feel like leeroy is better than CotW, He's less mana intensive and hit's about as hard, plus he's got some synergy with Unleash the Hounds

I made an account on this website just so I could comment on this deck. This deck is the shit, it single handedly got me to my first legend ranking and I started using this deck back when I was in rank 9. I got a 72% win rate all the way to legend, which I hit today and it was one of the greatest moments in my hearthstone career. I've been constantly getting rank 3 for a while and could never make that final push, so I just wanted to thank Guukboii for making and sharing this deck cuz it meant a lot to me.
