Jennifer posted a message on Hearthstone Needs and "Annihilate" Effect to Balance Revive Highroll/DemonlockPosted in: General DiscussionI think this card that i just made would be a cool tech card to help with these problems :P
"Played" means used from your hand by paying it's mana cost, meaning that anything that's cheated into play or otherwise summoned would get destroyed instantly.
So with Dirty Rat this is completely broken. 5 mana for 4/10 in stats plus taunt and destroy a minion in your opponent's hand.Is a two card combo to force one discard from your opponent broken? I don't think it is. But the stats on the card might be off by a little, dunno. You're right keep making broken cards and then telling me I'm wrong.Wow, turn up the saltitude. So much for a friendly discussion, huh? -

Truffles20 posted a message on Why The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a better game than HearthstonePosted in: Other GamesWhy should people get butthurt that you enjoy elder scrolls legend more than hearthstone? If you enjoy the game more than Hearthstone than good for you. This thread seems kind of pointless.

1xbenx1 posted a message on Myra's Unstable element?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from JarlBallin >>Rogue is my main class, so no way in hell I'm dusting Myra's Unstable Element. BUT is there anything in particular this spell is good at, or is it, as the reveal video says, an emergency button that you use and hope to finish the match with?
It's good at playing a lot of 4/4's

Twitchy posted a message on Max McCall on Keywords in Standard FormatPosted in: NewsStop using that argument every damn time.
Magic the Gathering gets 2-5 new keywords each expansion, which means it has over 100 total now.
Yes, that's way too much. No, you don't have to be mentally retarded to forget hald of them.

Might be a dumb question: If I craft say Genn, I get the dust automatically when this happens. Can I dust him then to get 400 more dust? Not trying to abuse the system but kinda sucks that they make rotations and then screw their rotation by rotating cards out early.

I consider it as a decent investment in time to get there. Not that they're bad or good players because I've ran into both.

For all the salty people.... go to the salt thread. Asking about what seems strong early on is legit; however, more often than not, people will look back and possibly see they missed a big one that only truly came out when the meta settled. I think Janalai is pretty strong as doing 8 damage with your hero power isn't hard to do at all and mage added more control cards this set. I also feel like priest will be strong... having lost to being mindblasted 5 times (if you hold a dragon discover a spell AND discover a spell in your deck). Not sure if that was unlucky or how often mindblast is a discovery option.

Let's avoid the phrase "boring meta" a whole 3-4 days after the expansion releases. Are there too many hunters? Sure... but a yogg-like card has that effect. *Praise Yogg*. =P
I'd run warrior or even old taunt warrior with a few updates to it. Might not stop an aggro hunter but I haven't ran into many of those.

I remember them doing a brawliseum before an expansion and everyone cried it was a money pull by blizzard to get F2P to spend 1000 gold on an entry and then not be able to buy as many packs. (Although confident that was a few expansions ago).

This is pretty decent with: auctioneer AND new druid legendary, as you can punch face multiple things. You still have plenty of armor with branching paths.
That or they're still trying to make decks that could use savagery.

Here's a link of Kibler playing against TidesofTime with a deck that is either this deck or very similar to it. Maybe with 2 witchwood bears in this variety (as would make sense from the youtube video and title).

I liked Kibler's thoughts on core... not that the quest was too strong but that being able to complete the quest early (say turn 3) and having prep that worked on the quest reward was lame/overpowering.

You're in the salt thread... probably should save responses for the pepper thread. Playing not the most annoying tier 1 decks doesn't make the deck an "assdeck".

My original question was if they'd allow coin purchases for wild packs as I did see they were on sale online. I think they're delusional when it comes to the shop needing to be "simple" for hearthstone, as how hard is it to add a "standard" tab and "wild" tab for making purchases having old adventures and expansions there. If they can't do that, I'm for your argument for at least a 25% decrease in crafting cost... like 30 dust per common, 1200 for legendary, 75 rare, 300 epic. That wouldn't be too outlandish since we still only would get 1/3 of that if we disenchanted...
