posted a message on Pyrosmith good for this meta ?

Looks like they just added pyromancer to the typical control warrior. I am playing a control pally with this similar style of play. But im running molten giants in place of the class specific cards warrior plays. I am personally killing agro decks unless they have the nut draw and I do not get a board clear board clear.
Rag almost feels like a "win more" card. Once he is in play most of the time your are already going to win, or you are clawing back and lose. I dont know if he is good for this deck or not. I personally am thinking about pulling him out because of the current meta isnt really positive for him, like I said, feels like a win more card.
    Ysera, grom and alex all are better cards for what your able to do with the deck. I would consider pulling the following cards;
    1- Slam
    2- Inner rage
    1- Rag
Instead I would run, 2 Cruel Taskmasters, and 2 Harvest golems
    Reasons.
Task Master does the same thing as inner rage, but gives you a body making it so you can 2 for 1 at times and can bump your zerkers the same way as rage does. Remember your trying to not get rushed down, and on turn 2 you generally are not being overwhelmed, so you do not want to waste a WW on one creature, 2 at most. WW is better late game when you need to clear, activate your grom, or bump your zerker for massive power.
Golem is better early game as well, and almost always 2 or 2 for 1s your opponent and slows the early rush, lives through your pyromancer, and WW.
I think these changes would be better in the current meta over the other cards. They give your presence on the board, and give more value than the others do.
Yeah some will think Rag is the god of the game, but right now its a win more card until you start playing more control vs control matches.

Thats what my statement, it depends on your situation and if the risk is worth it clearly outlined. Yes if your in a spot where you must play a 4th or lose the game in risk of a MTC hitting you, either way you had lost. You played to your outs but the opponent countered it. You need to understand that situation is possible, and will occur often. You play into a corner and have no way out, it happens. I did it today, missed a play and cost me the game. I did not blame a cards ability on me losing, i blamed myself and thought about how I should of actually played the turns out. I came to the conclusion my chances of winning either way where minimal but I still could of won if played properly.
Yes, there will be times you play perfect, never over extend, get value out of everything and your opponent beats you some how. All we are saying is if you reduces the likelihood of this occurring it will help your game all around. Again this is by no means saying you will never get effed in the
A from a card, but you will be better off.

I love me some MCT. Play it every time it comes up unless some better rare is available. I have learned from playing it that you need to expect it. Like others have said it sets you up for better situations against other things like AOE. If you play like it is similar to AOE then you will always be able to recover from a MCT or AOE effect.
Complaining that the card crushed you and getting upset that people are telling you how to avoid it is silly. If you want to rant, do it on facebook where every one cares and will understand your anger.
Claiming it is hard as a shaman or pally is also a lame excuse. If you are worried about it, what does the totem / soldier do for you if that situation? will you lose if you need the 1/1 or the specific RNG totem? If you didnt summon the creature would you have lost regardless? These are decisions that need to be thought out. Do not mindlessly summon totems/soldiers if your at 3 dudes and it does not greatly impact the game state.
I know if some one has 3 dudes out and I can AOE them whether or not they summon the totem/soldier, im going to regardless if they add the 4th, I will do it. It just adds way to much value to the board (wasting mana or cards) in case of an AOE is used.
So many people believe this is a brain dead game, and you can mindlessly run shit out and hope to win, then get upset when they over extend, or give the opponent an opportunity to win because they made the mistake of doing something they did not really need to do.
Seriously, if you get caught in this situation, it is your fault and yours alone. Either you learn from your mistake or not and have it happen multiple times (like you have stated you have).

Pagle, even if he is nerfed he still draws cards and causes your opponent to focus on him or lose the game from being out paced. I crafted him last week and am thrilled I have. Next is tinkmaster.

So, I crafted Jaraxxus today and had amazing results with him as you always should. I do not have an Alex to put in with him yet so I was thinking about what to the time being. I noticed Jaraxxus was labeled as a Demon, meaning Sense Demon would tutor him out of the deck.
With him being the only one it would pull him every single time in effect, doubling my chances of getting him, and being able to pull him at a whim if needed for three mana.
Tutor effects in all games have been game breakers and have caused huge issues in every game when it came to balancing a deck or card.
What does every one think about this idea. It cycles and gets your end game card keeping your hand full for mountain giants and drakes, and thins your deck for more effective draws in the early game.
    Any input on this idea?

My favorite card is Avenging Wrath because you get to slap your opponent 8 times. It's so satisfying when it goes off - the whole screen turns dark, then a synth choir tune plays followed by 8 meaty, hearty slapping sounds.

If you ever get the chance to have lethal with avenging wrath against an empty board, do it.

I did this today and laughed so flipping hard about it. Greatest slapfest of all time

    On Topic:
Right now, my favorite card to play is Cairne. I play him in my control druid deck, and whenever I play against a warrior I feel like im getting a little revenge from the lore every time I win. If I lose, i just assume they used poison and cheated.

The other card I greatly enjoy (casted once since I crafted him) is Jaraxxus. The feeling I had of complete control and the power the character had from lore, just to cool.

Outside of those, probably Faceless Manipulator, copies are a blast and you know it just pisses your opponent off know matter what you do with it.

I figured out how to post my deck, feel free to make suggestions.

I do have Cairne as well, which I thought about putting in for a Faceless to up the power level. Would it be better to keep the faceless to copy legendary cards or the giants, or is Cairne just simply better.

posted a message on Who to craft next

    Hello all,

So I recently DE'ed a ton of cards to put together a handlock deck. I had a ton of it to start and was able to craft all but a couple legendary cards. I have been playing pretty well but am slowly starting to wish I had one of the three cards below, and am wondering what you all think I should make first, second and last

    1) Rag

    2) Jaraxxus

    3) Alexstraza

Sorry if I spelled any of those incorrectly

I have a pretty standard deck, I am running an extra Faceless to make up for the missing legendary and it is working okay. But there are times I really wish I would draw any one of those three to either live another turn, or hope for RNG to win with Rag.

I will be buying a big stack of packs next month so I am hoping to open at least one of the three, and if not craft one of them.

I also am playing Druid control so right now I feel like Rag should be my first, but Jaraxxus just looks so saucy for the deck.
Any opinions would be appreciated, thanks for the help.
