I can already see ladder full of warlocks now and Big priest will be back to tier 1. tempo mage is even stronger now with other aggro, tempo decks losing a lot of aggresive power.

they simply nerfed all aggro tempo decks (except tempo mage)

    Winners:

    People Pursuing Golden Heroes
Given the increased number of games at lower ranks, getting 500 wins will take far less time than it used to.  This should help people catch up with those of us who have been playing since beta.

they are not always the winners, if you are new yes, it will be easier to get 500, cuz we have more stars at lower ranks after the change.
but if you are a regular high rank player and have missed to get your golden hero with some classes, it is even harder now, cuz you can't have easy wins in ranks 5-1. for example i haven't played much paladin at ranks and i'm a regular legend player, it will be much harder for me now to get 500 wins with paladin.

What makes you come crying under my deck? if you don't like competitive scene, go play your meme decks.

step 1: they are the best cards in hs, so it makes sense them being in most of the decks but there are decks without them. (Big Priest, Razakus Priest, Exodia Mage, ...)

step 2: are the others really auto fill? :) that's exactly the other cards that makes your deck building important.

u r complaining about my deck building(by the fact that you are posting this comment under my deck), yet i can't see you have added any interesting deck to the game eighter.

Hi man, i'm trying the deck more. it performs better than i expected, there is only one problem not getting turn 1 and 2 play is simply concede, however it doesn't happen much. but that's great to put ships canon on board turn 2 and start shooting every thing :)

it seems i had bad luck with draws the other day, it worked much better today and destroyed all those priests. tnx for sharing.

posted a message on At what rank you can consider yourself a good Hearthstone player?

i just want to point out a couple of things after i read most of the comments here:

1st: anybody who says i don't have time to reach rank 5 is joking. they are simply bad players, they can't win consistently, rank 5 can be achieved in 4h-5h easily if you are a good player. and if you don't have 5h in a season you are not playing the game at all. (i'm not talking about legend, just rank 5)

2nd: don't get wrong between luck and deck consistency, aggro decks are mostly consistent because 80% there decks are playable cards before turn 5, while control decks are highly punished because of bad draws, but it's not about luck most of the time, it's about probabilities, your deck relying on a few cards that can stop aggros, and the chance of drawing them is hard because half of your deck is unplayable cards before turn 5, while aggro players can play whatever they draw.

3rd: luck or skill?: it's not just about hearthstone, the human life is like that, human mind can simply remember all or most of the unlucky moments they had, but they can't see the lucky moments they had, hearthstone is the same we all have lucky and unlucky moments, both luck and skill are part of this game, you can't get to legend just with luck, cause you can't be lucky all the time. like any other player you get your lucky and unlucky moments but most of the time both players are in the same situation, that's when skill matters.

4th: does aggro decks requires skills? yes. i usually see control players says aggro doesn't require skill, i was thinking the same long time ago when i was playing a lot of control. (please don't call razakus priest and cubelock control decks, control decks died in standard with reno rotation, this two decks are mostly about drawing the right card on the right time). so here it is all decks require thinkings at some points it's just different for each deck, with old control decks (which doesn't exist nowadays) there were a lof of thinking required, and u had limited resources, you needed to be careful when to use them,

in aggro vs control decks not much thinking required (still some needed), aggro players don't need to think much about trades, the still need to be carefull about aoe's and predicting next turns, keeping something safe from aoe. same for control decks they don't need much thinking, just finding the right aoe, keeping resources for future threats. not much thinking required for both sides.

in aggro vs aggro decks more thinking required, you need to be really careful about your trades (trades is the most problem i see among players) when to go face, when to trade.

in control vs control match-ups a lot thinking required, mostly to be carefull about your resources and managing resources properly.

so that's it, aggro vs control requires less thinking (but still some required) for both sides, but it doesn't mean any of those decks are brain dead.

unfortunately the deck doesn't perform very well in this meta, you need to draw perfect to win the game. it's slow vs other aggros and if the enemy gets early board you can't come back. you have limited resources and get empty handed so fast. vs priests and warlocks there are a lot of healing and again you get out of resources.

    =======

Edit: seems i had bad draws, after playing more games, it's so easy to win when you get the right hand.

this deck doesn't relying much on Kingsbane, there is no time to use Cavern Shinyfinder, the weapon is there for the +1 durability, the deck is fast enough to finish the game with a couple of enhancements, if you didn't draw the Kingsbane, it's still ok dagger will do the trick.

i don't agree, especially with the game vs surrender, he would definitely win if he made a board, you tell me this what is the point of using nourish and ultimate infection in a jade druid when u haven't shuffled any jades into your deck? what do you expect to get from your draws? and you had the card for 10 turns! sitting there and only armoring up.

the game vs tom maybe the result wouldn't change but frozen was making the same mistake, armoring up and nothing more till it got late.

but priests are bullshit, that's true, bilizard should have nerfed anduin long time ago, to: referesh your hero power when playing a minion. which makes an stop for machine guns and is still a really good card. we could see more minion based decks like n'zoth or quest priest in combination with dk, it's still able to deal 6 in each turn easily, and +10 with prophet. also Psycho scream should be 9 mana.

Frozen had lots of problems with his jade deck. he made the same mistake twice, not putting any threats on-board, and only armoring up vs priest.

vs surrender he kept jade idol for 10 turns! and he taught his safe behind armors. he uses nourish and ultimate infestion to draw cards, but what to draw when u haven't shuffled any idols in your deck?

i taught it's ok his under pressure and like other players his making mistake too, but NO, his plan was just to armor  up vs priests, he made the same mistake again vs tom, relying too much on armor and not making a threatening board. well it made him lose the award.
