Baron is better for that deck but both are good.  All the top decks i'm seeing have Baron but some don't run Alex.

You could also base it off what you feel like your deck needs.  Baron gives solid clear and board presence and a lot of healing with Jaina.  Alex puts instant pressure on your opponent to close the game and can also save your own ass outside of Jaina, but i feel like for survival it isn't as strong. 

Aggro mage requires no skill, control decks like this require a deeper understanding of the game.

It's not great in this meta.  It's good against some of the newer aggro/midrange decks popping up (even shaman, even lock) and it's good against spell hunter but big spell mage, druid, and quest war are really tough matchups.  Just can't get past the armor.  It could be refined to fit the meta better, perhaps.  

Druid and warrior would be a lot more winnable with more board presence and pressure in the mid game. 

I'm playing control priest on the ladder so quest warriors give me fits.  It's pretty rare I can win that one due to the armor generation, odd warrior especially.  Big spell mage if they draw Jaina requires very specific circumstances to win (they already used both of their armor elementals and I have my combo + a psychic scream in hand).  Druid can be rough too but i can grind that one more often than not.

Playing control priest feels like you're always losing the game until you win, and you can beat almost everything except those armor classes.  It's fun to play.  

I was two wins away from reaching rank 5 for the first time (i've been playing two months) and i got matched up with a legend player.  I was ready to load up the salt thread but i managed to beat the druid in fatigue barely.  I don't even want to queue up again but i only need one more win.  

Probably still really good for murloc pally.

I always emote "well played" when someone dark pact's a lackey or a cube.  Such skills must be acknowledged.  Generally, I never BM other than that unless my opponent is doing it a lot and i end up turning it around and winning.

Just because You've found some tools to be "unfair" in your opinion in this game... Doenst mean they're actually broken. Why did I mention it? Because its half of the HS community opinion. Sth mess with your plan = deserve to be banned.

It could do 21+ battlecries before, now it cannot.  That is a nerf. 

It is a nerf that doesn't actually affect the cards strength in any meaningful way, however.  I wouldn't mind some free dust because it was in the first pack I opened but the card isn't weaker in any of the ways it is actually used, just a nerf on paper so I understand the no refund.
