Probably just had the worst 3 days in all my history of playing Hearthstone went from rank 5 to 9 in a single losing streak against perfectly curved Shamans and Hunters (which are like 80% of ladder right now) while I mulliganed and got all my late game cards during most of my games. They all literally won by playing 1 card per turn.
Everytime I got tilted I just stopped playing for the day thinking: 'It's just the day's RNG, tomorrow i'll be fine'...been saying that for the past days. My win rate this season was 70% and just counting these past 3 days I'm sitting at 20%.
Decided to call it quits from ladder for some time and thought maybe I'll do better in Arena and proceeded to go second five games in a row even quieing into a Warrior with Brawl and Grommash Hellscream in his deck.
This has been fucking ridiculous, I'm done with HS this month.
I'm not new to Hearthstone at all, been playing for a while but mainly in Ranked mode. I'm not that adept at Arena so I want a question answered: Is there some kind of safe on preventing you to go second in Arena for a couple of games in a row? I'm 5 games into this Arena run and all 5 times I've been second which is extremely annoying seeing as how it's been noted that going second is quite a disadvantage in this mode.
I don't understand people that only play standard/ netdecks / competitive decks in hearthstone.
The game being extremely rng & luck-based, is anything but a serious competitive game.
You want to be competitive tryhard pro wannabe? Play starcraft 2 or cs:go, both games ten times harder than hearthstone, no luck in these games.
Play Hearthstone to have fun, wild or standard, but dont always bring "competitive" argument in a non-competitive game please.
If you see the game as a way to relax and have fun, fine by you. There are people who look at this game as a means to compete against each other, fine by them. Having a point of view doesn't make you any better than someone who has the opposite one.
Oh, and good look trying to convince Blizzard to push Hearthstone away from the competitive scene.
and btw, stop with these "People play decks that I don't like, fucking cancer" threads
Tempo Mage is actually a pretty nice alternative against Zoo, Shaman and Hunter so you can't blame him for that. He is actually complaining about the aggro/tempo driven meta, unfortunately you soon reach the point where you say 'If you can't beat em...'
I sincerely hope that Shaman goes down to become the garbage tier it was and deserves after 1 year in the spotlight (and what a year).
This is the wrong attitude to have IMHO. The hearthstone dev's design philosophy of "trash at 1 moment, OP as fuck the next, nerfed into the ground eventually" is ridiculous and detrimental to the overall health of the game...it wasn't that very long ago that everyone was begging for Shaman buffs and Paladin was one of the OP classes to beat, after all. Don't get me wrong - I want to see Shaman reduced in power and Priests get some love, but not to send Shammies back to the dumpster tier and have Priest be the new imba unstoppable class since that ultimately just complains what class we whine about on the forums.
To answer OP's question. I think it's too early to tell, but I sincerely hope the replacement sets for BRM, TGT, and LOE feature some interesting and playable cards instead of being 50% filler trash cards that will never see play outside of arena.
I know that kind of mentality is wrong, but it seems that this is the path the dev team chose and won't change it in the foreseeable future, besides Shaman deserves no love for the next expansion to counter balance the insane support it has received and let other classes catch up.
As a sidenote, I believe Priest will never ever be a top tier class just because of how the class was designed since the beginning. It will always be doomed to be a reactive, anti meta class (imagine a meta controlled by Priest, just about the most boring thing this game can ever have).
Ragnaros has broken my heart by missing 50/50s so many times this season I actually pulled him from my Mage deck fueled by saltiness and replaced him with Archmage Antonidas which was quite some time since I used him last.
Finally someone writes something productive about HS!!!
99% of HS' status threads are whine, whine, whine.
And mister, you deserve an
No sarcasm (seriously)
How is this productive, mind you. He just said 'I like the game'. It's basically a rant thread but backwards doesn't bring anything to the table whatsoever.

Turn 7: Flamestrike
Turn 8: Flamestrike
