BogdanM posted a message on Climb the Ladder with Hearthstone Esports in 2023! - 10th Year of Hearthstone EsportsPosted in: NewsI really don't get it why people act like it's a tragedy. I mean yeah, totally, it sucks for people actively involved in this and actually being on the high competitive side of the game, but saying things like hearthstone in general is dying makes no sense.
If anything, hearthstone is dying cause the lack of balance when there are some obvious problems right now in the meta. It's way more tragic and dramatic the fact that after a long time they just announce the announcement regarding nerfs than this whole esports fiesta. The vast majority of players don't even care about esports, but they are directly influenced by the lack of balance, and this matters way more than the 1-5% of the player base that had a chance to touch the esports scene. -

xskarma posted a message on Climb the Ladder with Hearthstone Esports in 2023! - 10th Year of Hearthstone EsportsPosted in: NewsIf you think people were actually making a healthy living being Hearthstone Esports Players, then I don't know what to tell you.
Pretty much all of them already had jobs and did this on top of it, or were at best professional streamers that also were esports players.
This is just kinda sad for everyone that enjoyed the esports side of Hearthstone, cause I think for many of them it;s nto even so much the lack of prize money but the lack of scope. Only a handful of tournaments, where there used to be a tournament every 2 months, and for the best of the best, also Grandmasters on top of that.
The only glimmer of hope is that they are going back to Twitch, which will open up more viewers and hopefully more interest. Without that we might not even see Esports next year at the current rate.

Andrei2007 posted a message on Casual Mode Etiquette.Posted in: Wild FormatDisagree because:
1. Ranked games can be unnecessary pressure for someone willing to blow off steam in the evening (a lot of people are in education, employment or training)
2. Refining decks or testing new S tier decks that you are not yet confident about playing ranked with.
3. Daily quests (it's really frustrating to have to play dead classes for the dailies)
4. Just want less hardcore opponents, and that's fine.
These have been said before, but all these topics boil down to the same thing:
Don't tell people what to play.
You don't have that right. You are free to play any card you want, any deck you want, and any way you want it. So does your opponent. So if you really want to play unique, homebrew decks, find a community that does that, make friends, and stop getting annoyed at strangers farming you and moving on with their lives.

Qobdater posted a message on Casual Mode Etiquette.Posted in: Wild FormatI’m sorry I don’t agree and I will give an example. Last month I was stuck in diamond 2 and wanted to make some adjustments without the fear of loosing ranks so I boot into casual to fine tune. Now according to you I have bad manners because why? I’m not playing the way you want me to play. I personally feel casual is a place to test without the fear of loosing ranks and also the place to play death knight and have fun. Many people play casual to learn how to play higher tear deck because casual is a testing ground I shouldn’t feel bad for testing a deck you don’t like. It also doesn’t make me someone with bad manners. In the end hearthstone is a competitive game it breeds competition to try and convince me any 2 player vs card game isn’t is silly. The game is built solely on this foundation. But hey the nice thing is you can play the way you want and I can like I want boom we can both be happy

With all the deathrattles do you think a N'zoth would fit in this deck?

You will get a random one, dusted cards count as collected.

Hopefully this will limit the amount of RNG in the game.
