This deck is great for getting smashed by Hunters by turn 6.

edit: but still fun to play

    This deck is awesome.

Very first match I used Mind Control on a Fire Elemental (vs. Midrange Shaman), summoned Y'shaarj who brought out Arcane Giant next turn. It was over soon after.

The only problem I see in this deck is a potential weakness vs Aggro decks.

Brann + Abusive + Void Terror + Faceless Manipulator = 87 stats on board.

Void Terror again! I always save Brewmaster for my first Brann drop. He's almost always targeted instantly. So I'll save and wait for my combos and draw cards/take damage if necessary.

Void Terror OP. Always use with Brann if possible!

Love this deck! Played against a C'Thun Warrior. No minions were played until turn 6, when I played Sylvanas. She died quickly. Onyx summoned her back. He used his resources to clear that board. Another Onyx summoned her back. He brawled. I play thoughtsteal, which steals HIS Sylvanas, which I play next turn.

He conceded shortly after. 4 Sylvanas before turn 9!

You can't beat that value with a stick.

... is getting smashed by Shamans with BASIC cards (no spirit claws even), in rank 20, of all ranks.

and if you ask why I am in rank 20, I got bored at rank 5 and started experimenting with various different decks. (reno decks, tier 4)

Something seriously wrong with this meta.

    Quickest concede ever.

    Playing CW vs Freeze Mage.

He plays acolyte. Has 8 cards or so. Next turn he pings his acolyte, giving him 9. He ALSO plays Bloodmage Thalnos.

His acolyte is down to 1/2, and it's my turn, he has 10 cards.

I play blood to ichor on his Acolyte. Frostbolt burned.

Then comes Ravaging Ghoul, Ice Lance and Alexstraza get burned!!

    Insta-concede.

I gotta say I agree whole heartedly with your play style. Personally, most of my plays and decks are entirely centric around the play that will be the most fun.  Often, that involves a lot of RNG.

Keep it real, and remember why you play the game!

Sometimes, I'll even make these "brilliant" RNG plays when I know I have a win in the bag. And when it backfires, and my opponent has THAT ONE CARD, or topdecks a miracle, I then feel very stupid.

I find myself committing massive blunders while playing Hearthstone, in the hopes of pulling off the perfect RNG play.

For instance... when playing Renolock, and I'm low on health, and I know opponent has me in kill range (hunters/mages/Grommash/etc), I'll often neglect to play Reno, and play other cards first, in hopes of getting a bigger payoff, even when I know there's a high likelihood this dude has a Fireball in his hand.

Or if I'm playing Yogg control Warrior... I might brawl with a small minion of mine and a big minion of his, knowing I have a 50/50 chance of winning. Or I might even play Yogg when I'm ahead, only to have him cast Astral Communion on my full hand of cards. Stupid, right?

Sometimes when I pull off these seemingly stupid (but calculated) plays, it can be very rewarding. Even though I know I'm playing from behind (kind of like in poker, refusing to fold with a chance to draw).

Does anyone else do this? I know I can't be the only one. I'm open to commiseration and flames alike.

Awesome concept with Void Terror. Very powerful win on Turn 7.

Played Drake on Turn 4, Giant on turn 5. Cleared his minions to where both giant and drake were low on health. Played Brann+Void Terror in between the Drake and Giant, and buffed him to 27/13. Opponent had no response, and conceded.

posted a message on Share your Standard Epic Plays!

Not quite sure how "epic" these plays are, but I was quite proud of them.

    I'm playing Control Warrior.

First game vs C'thun Druid, he ramps up pretty fast and plays big minions early. I take alot of face damage with Fiery War Axe and Gorehowl, removing them. I'm intentionally trying to get down to 12 health to play revenge, which is a risky play in itself. We play back and forth, he removes Sylvanas, Ragnaros, and Grommash successfully, then I play Ysera, I know C'thun is coming pretty soon, which he's buffed up to 14/14. My health and armor is around 16 or so. All executes and shield slams have been used. Ysera gives me "Ysera Awakens". I decide to go all out and hit him in the face with my Gorehowl, taking his health down to 4. He removes Ysera, and I have no other plays next turn other than to armor up. He plays C'thun, taking me down to 6 health. I play "Ysera Awakens" leaving his -1 and me 1. GG!

Second game vs Zoo. I get a REALLY shitty mulligan, nothing but 5 and 6 drops, like Sylvanas, Justicar, Brawl, etc, plus I have the coin. He dominates me completely, and I have no answers for any of his minions. I'm forced to use shield slam on his Flame imp early, just to prevent that extra face damage. He gets a board with Doomguard, and I have to play Brawl. Doomguard is the surviving minion! What luck! So he hits me in the face some more, and then he plays his second Doomguard, except now he has no more cards. I brawl again, knowing he will have me lethal next turn. I almost considered conceding. He hits me in the face again, and I'm down to 1 health. Next card draw is a miracle... Bash! So I bash, execute, and play ironforge. Now I have a minion on board and some armor. He plays some minions, etc, etc, I get a fiery war axe (finally), and so I play justicar, armor up, and remove his little minions. He proceeds to concede. GG!
