Problem is Yogg is that it just negates anything and everything that has happened in the game till that point - who wins at that point is as good as tossing a coin which makes me question why was I wasting coming up with any strategy for last 10mins. That makes for a very very frustrating experience - planning turns, calculating lethal.. the whole process becomes dumbed down because of this card. 

Another thing to note- there is no way to play around it, u cant make it delayed by 1 turn in Standard,  I thought that was a design choice that Blizz claims to avoid in hearthstone. 

I think he is trying to defend what he is playing? 

Secret paladin for me.. maybe ppl will figure out how to tech against it eventually but right now the only game I have won against that deck was using a control warrior and teching in Whirlwind+revenge+Gaddon on top of my brawl. That f*ing Mysterious card is ridiculous .. you need to have like 3-4 AOE back to back for any chance to deny them lethal on the board. 

I play freeze mage myself. If I lose due to my opponent correctly saving Lotheb/Kyzan for the turn where it matters I tell them "Well Played" - because they did.. they outplayed you using tools they had just like you were trying to. '

Of course freeze mage is really painful to play against.. so if someone wins using the right tech.. they deserve all the joy it brings. 

yeah immediately went druid too when realized its a repeat of the that brawl.. dont think any class comes close.

it does look good but I think you would end up adding more mid game in future iterations... To pull off any of the amazing combos with Aviana you need to survive for a till T-11, 12. it wouldnt be of any help vs Zoos/hunters/tempo mages if you put up Aviana+ KT+ Dr. Boom in same turn while sitting at 5-6 health. 

Other than priest or shaman, atm its hard to see it being used on T3. 

For ppl dreaming about T2 Bloodmage, T3, this.. you have already won cause your opponent disconnected. 

4 mana.. deal 3 damage... Cost 1 less for each time you used hero power this game

Like another post above pointed out-  most overlooked neutral , still part of tons of decks... The humble Ironbeak Owl

Use it to destroy value of - Mad Scientist, Shredder, Belcher, Emperor, Sylvannas, Tirion, Highmane.... its a long list.. 

Or Use it to increase value from ur - Fel Reaver, Ancient Watcher, even Ragnaros to get rid of rng. 

There is a good reason why there are few silence effect minions in the game since they shut down soooo many other cards.

My phone actually was able to download the update (6 hours ago or so). So I assume Blizz put the patch back up on playstore and hopefully things will be fine for everyone now!

I suspect the problem started because I launched the app from phone and my Amazon tablet nearly simultaneouly, hoping to update both. Looks like it has caused some kind of sync issue on the android phone. :( 

Can anyone confirm if they are able to play without issues on android phone? 

On my android phone (Galaxy S6) I am getting a message asking me to update the Hearthstone app. But the playstore its not showing any update option.
I have tried to uninstall and install again but the msg remains the same on launching the app. Clearing the cache also hasn't helped. 

Anyone else facing this issue?

Thats interesting though isnt it... how element of surprise often makes so many "less-refined" decks more effective counter against meta decks.. 

Yeah u guys are right.. I m not a big fan of combo oriented decks but freeze looked like so. Much fun that I ended up even crafting extra doomsayers to play. Unfortunate that I can't really make it work effectively at these ranks. Thanks for reply guys

I have been trying out freeze mage on NA ladder recently but without much luck. I understand that its a difficult deck to pilot but pretty much all I seem to face are warriors, tempo mages and hunters. A couple of druid i faced ended up with Kyzan (using it correctly at lethal turn. Most of the other decks are running heabot which often makes Alex much less effective as well. 

Just wondering if I have been having bad luck with matchups (10-15 rank) or in general ladder is not good place for freeze mage right now? The only good matchups i seem to have are warlocks (either kind).
