I am confused just because something is hard it is considered impossible now? I fought the darkness and figured out the second time around that he will come because of a boss (Darkheart?) giving me a vague warning... I got cloak of shadows and his entire deck is single target removal so gg =D Pirate warrior op
I absolutely love this idea of bringing back cthun! I am thinking of adding a bit more card draw and the second dead man's hand. To me it feels like in the control vs control match up when you play this combo your opponent will generally auto concede because no matter what they do unless they had you dead to rights in the next 2-3 turns they will never take your value down. Now for the second dead man's hand and maybe adding in a battle rage it will wait in my opinion until jade druid is destroyed due to skulking geist in like 2-3 weeks and once lichking is played less often
If you drop down to free giant now you need to have the full combo or at least an antique healbot which isn't in standard... going down to free now puts you in the range of so many more cards.
So which is better the basic card Silver Hand Knight or the class card "which are suppose to be better since its in a class" Force of Nature. I understand why they had to nerf it this way 7 mana wouldn't work it will limit card design...
I feel like someone here needs to post this in the Yogg-Saron chat... Still going to be a fun card to play but i honestly don't see it getting play anymore after the info they dropped. Sorry for the long post it just seems people aren't reading this on the home page.
Does Yogg Saron's battlecry target friendly characters ? Yes, Yogg-Saron's Battlecry affects all potential targets, including your own hero. (Source)
Are the spells randomly chosen from the spells you've cast? Or are they completely randomly picked from all spells? Yogg-Saron's spells are randomly selected from all collectible spells, and one is cast for each spell you've played. (Source)
Will the spells Yogg-Saron casts be from any class, or from your own? And I assume Standard-only spells in Standard. Random effects in Standard will only use cards eligible for Standard play, so Yogg-Saron would only cast Standard spells. (Source)
Can Yogg-Saron hit himself? Yes, Yogg-Saron can target himself, but even if he's destroyed or transformed, the full Battlecry still takes place. (Source)
If a card provides options, such as Raven Idol or Wrath, Yogg-Saron randomly selects one of those options when the spell is cast. (Source)
What if Yogg-Saron uses a card that can't activate on anything? like if it plays backstab but all minions are damaged? In a case where one of Yogg-Saron's spells has no eligible targets, it fizzles. (Source)
How random is "random target?" Can spells that normally only affect enemy minions target yours instead? Yogg-Saron follows the rules, so the spells will follow their card text as though your hero cast them. (Source)
Random targets means my fireballs can hit my own minions and my bufffs can land on the enemy? That's correct! If a spell doesn't have text to prevent it, then any eligible target could be chosen. (Source)
Oi! About Yogg, the spells count as "cast" for things like counterspell or mana wyrm? CORRECTION! Spells cast by Yogg-Saron will NOT buff Mana Wyrm, interact with Antonidas, trigger Flamewaker, etc. (Source)
What happens if you use Yogg Saron when your opponent have a gallywix on board ?... Yogg-Saron's spells count as being cast by Yogg-Saron, so they shouldn't interact with Gallywix or Lorewalker Cho. (Source)
At first I thought it was terrible to slow can't do anything. BUT they removed can't attack from him. Now I can see this as a late game bomb. It is still a slow card but it will in fact impact the board when played and that's why you want from a late game card.
So you think they "lost the game" already? Do you want them to hold your hand and give you everything for free that is not how the world works they need to make money to keep on making cards. They are a business newer players will save money because they don't have to go back and get older sets to be competitive. If you only have to focus on the newest 3 sets instead of all the sets in the game wouldn't you agree that newer player will save money and be inclined to play the game more. The bigger our community grows the better the game will get. I understand some people don't want to spend money on games at all and they give you this option. Yes we won't be able to buy older packs that won't last forever we will see a wild pack within the end of this year.
Constantly going back to nerf older cards is not ideal. This is because by nerfing older cards you are ruining decks there is no op deck there never will be. Oh but what about patron warrior! IT WASN'T over powered. People immediately assume something is op because it wins alot and once it starts winning alot smart players will counter it.
Cards designs will get used again and we will see remakes of old cards. That would be awesome! imagine if they made another card like sylvanas with a different name and same everything else! That would give you to legendaries in the same deck that do the same thing! So yeah it would be great of they re-used card ideas. The said before they wouldn't put the same card again in a new expansion without at least some tweaks like magma and ice rager!
Instead of trying to grasp at what could be bad why not see all that's good! So many aggro cards and control cards will be gone and new decks and ideas will be thought up!
That's great then! Both sides lose and will gain cards this will make more creative decks and make the game more enjoyable. It wouldn't be fun if only one side lost cards right?
Wild: you’ll be able to finish quests, earn gold, rank up on the ladder, get card backs, earn Legend rank, and use all the cards you’ve already collected to build a Wild deck, just like you always have.

This isn't the worst nerf but why not a 2/3 so it needs to be killed by a 2 drop (besides Flame Imp).

I can see why they made the changes to all the cards listed but...
They nerfed 3 aggro cards. But then they nerfed 6 cards that reward mid to late game players...
Owl is in both so thats why it wasn't put in either.

With them adding this card in i feel they might be making Force of Nature into a 3 2/2s no haste but don't die...

"Several key anti-aggro tools are being lost" You do realize aggro that they are losing cads as well..
For example:
Haunted creeper
MAD SCIENTIST
glaivezooka
All of mech mage
cog hammer
shielded minibot
muster for battle
I can keep going but this should be enough
