The best brawl is the one with randomised mana cost.

If your game of choice is flipping a coin, it sure is.

The longer the better. My wallet can't handle any more releases for games I like right now.

Then again it would mean stupid Grim Patron would rotate out. That card triggers PTSD in me and its still good.

I believe card rotations happen at the end of the calendar year, not when a new set comes out (if I remember correctly)
More precisely, when the first expansion of the calendar year comes out. So BRM won't leave standard until probably April 2017, and at the same time than, not before, TGT and LoE.

I got the double rope timer too.

I found another display bug with the daily quests. I just got a "win 3 games with any class" quest as my new daily and re-rolled it, and it looked like the game gave me the same quest back again. I logged off and relogged in, and this time it had been replaced by a new one.

Really, Blizzard, you know you fucked up when a patch introduces more new issues than it solves.

Is it just me, or is HDT no longer working at all after this update?

Sorry Blizzard, but you screwed this one up. They still do.

You can Houndmaster it! A 5/7 Taunt on turn 4! It's insane! Blizzard should nerf it!

    Or something like that.

A bug fix I noticed in the UI: in Crafting mode, golden cards are no longer hidden if the "Show only golden cards" box is unchecked.

Some golden animations also look like they've been updated/upgraded.

posted a message on Jackker's TOP 15 Legend Secret Paladin

At first I wondered why anyone would ever want to bring back Secret Botadin from the grave. On second thought, maybe it's a good idea after all. If it becomes a thing again, Blizzard will at long last have to fix that stupid broken card MC, which in turn could make it interesting to play Wild. Plus, we might get another video where a streamer queues into the same bot 4 times in a row on ladder. (Please make it Forsen this time.)

Definitely not the worst brawl ever, nothing can compete with the Winter Veil one on this matter. I don't think it's worse than Randomonium, either. It's still a RNG donkfest with next to no comeback mechanism, mind you, but the legendaries' crazy effects redeem it a tiny bit. At least it's good for farming gold while reading your Twitter feed.

Complaining about people building netdecks is as dumb as chess players complaining because other players use book openings. Book openings are part of the game and you are an idiot if you don't became familiar with the common ones. In the same vein, Hearthstone players should be familiar with all common deck types.
While I see your general point, this example is very poorly chosen because until/unless you're rated around 2300 or above, studying openings is pretty much a waste of time. Chess offers so many more opportunities for the weaker player to misplay, and for the stronger player to come back from behind and win the game when the opponent misplays.
Now back to your regularly scheduled thread...

I hate brawls where we make the decks. its just gonna be the same crap that's in play mode.

As a general rule, I disagree with you: there were lots of great constructed brawls where the brawl rule had so much impact that the experience was radically different from ladder. Not in this case, though. I don't think I'll play it again unless I get a Shaman quest.

posted a message on Patch Notes - The guaranteed pack from Arena will now always be from the most recently released expansion.

TGT comes in, and the pack from the latest expansion is replaced by a random pack. Another expansion comes in, and we're back to a pack from the latest expansion. Looks like Blizzard always knew that TGT was a failed expansion and no one wanted those packs... :)

Seriously, though, I second/third/whatever the idea of having instead a voucher for a pack of the player's choosing.

Well, it was far from the worst, I'd rather have this again than Randomonium. At least that's a quick way to do dailies in classes you don't play.
