Rogue is having an identity crisis. First Valeera was all about combo, then deathrattle. This card promotes small minions with powerful battlecries+bounce effects: swashburglar, novice engineer, 3/2 panda, jeweled scarab etc. There is no synergy between these cards.
Posting on behalf of my opponent who decided to go afk. Today I crafted shaku and put him in my burgle rogue for the full burgle package. I ended up stealing 2 Confessors, Kazakus, Mind Control. Bounced Kazakus with toxins and played him twice. Damn this game was good.
Just played a against a pirate warrior with my Reno mage. Game took 25 minutes. I managed to take a shit and have dinner. Oh yeah, and I won. Just posting ij this thread on his behalf.
There are different types of players, some are very competitive and care about ranked mode, they will dust everything they have to craft a tier 1 competitive deck for the current meta. The other type is card hoarders and funky deck players. I belong to the latter, I have most of the cards I need, so I don't play to earn gold anymore. I am that player who crafted Beneath the Ground and Astral Communion.
It has become increasingly frustrating to play for fun these days. Within last 20 games I queued only in 1 non-meta deck, it was an OTK priest with deathlords. I was playing a N'zoth Burgle Reno Rogue, the deck is bad, but it is fun to play. I am really hoping to see a mode where you can play those decks without getting punished and killed on turn 5.
