I would say 'No', but that's mostly because I hate Bomb Warriors, hehe.

FortyDust posted a message on Is Everything Aggro?Posted in: General DiscussionPeople say the meta is balanced. Maybe it's balanced between the classes, but it's not balanced between aggro and control. Every game is someone just vomiting cards, at least as far as what I'm seeing. I mean, I'm not trying to be bitchy, but I've never had less fun. I don't like playing against aggro, or playing aggro, and that's all I'm seeing. People play, play badly, make mistakes, and it doesn't really matter. A Shaman got me down to 2 health after I'd played only 2 turns. I realize that most of the game design is geared toward keeping everyone happy and making more money by minimizing the difference in wins and losses between skilled players and less skilled players, but this is just too much for me. I mean, I like the game and want to play it, but it's like I was playing chess and suddenly the rules of checkers were incorporated into the game.
If you like control, what is there besides warrior and conjuror mage? And then people are still going to play poorly and still beat you after a few turns because they vomited cards an were able to recognize some simple mechanics that a five-year-old could master. It's not as if you can't win with warrior or mage, but it takes a lot of work to try to survive aggro. And, much if the time, your opponent's just hyperactively vomiting and there's nothing you could do no matter how well you play... so, you work really hard for a win, and then lose the next game in a couple of minutes to someone who just threw out cards before you had any possible answer. I suppose I could play aggro too, and, then, if I have more skill than my opponent, I should do a little better, but it feels like such a waste of time playing aggro, like why would I play checkers if I wanted to play chess. I really don't see the enjoyment in it, but that's just me.
Hey, everyone's free to play and do whatever they want. It's just that I want to enjoy the game, but, most of the time I'm playing now I just feel bleh, like I just stepped in dog shit and feel, well, what can you do. But I guess everyone wins games, and money is made. If the game were like chess and a good player always beat a bad player, then many players would be petulant and quit the game I'm sure, because God forbid you should have to get better and earn what you get. I guess the chess analogy is off-the-mark, since this game is far from chess, but I keep thinking what if I was playing chess and a beginner could beat me almost 50% of the time because of the way the games was designed? I wouldn't play the game, that's for sure. So why do I play this? I have no idea. Whatever.
It seems there's a lot you don't understand about the game.
If you think aggro is ruining your ability to enjoy control, you are a very bad control player. The whole point of control is to destroy aggro. A good control deck contains tools to survive the initial onslaught, stabilize, and then exercise its win condition when aggro has run out of gas.
Maybe you think your midrange deck is a control deck, but it's not? Midrange often gets wrecked by aggro because it can't deal with the early threats. Or maybe you are mistaking your opponent's midrange deck for aggro? Control has trouble against midrange because the threats just keep coming and there's never a chance to stabilize.
For example, take the current Midrange Hunter. It does great against Warriors and the slower midrange decks like Mage, but it goes down hard against Zoolock, which is actually aggro in its current form. Mid Hunter also struggles against Tempo Rogue. (Tempo usually denotes a fast build somewhere between aggro and midrange.)

This guy even made a great guide explaining lots of things, so next time stay quiet.
BTW great job OP.

Fluxflashor posted a message on Rise of ShadowsPosted in: GuidesHuge difference here.
So, these guides are hand built but they're also automated. Unfortunately, the tools to automate the guides rely on the site being updated for the expansion. I've made the changes for the new expansion for HearthPwn but they have not yet been deployed due to an issue with deploying to the site (yay). So due to that, updating this guide like we used to do every expansion just isn't possible without going insane.
The other site with the guide is updated automatically because it was built to be not-fucking-stupid like this pile of crap we've got on pwn. I don't think people realize how much hacky shit we've done on HearthPwn to get it the way it is LUL.

batterystaple posted a message on Gandhi NVR warlockPosted in: Gandhi NVR warlockSomething defensive like Tar Creeper or Shroom Brewer.
You may want to replace Cheaty Anklebiter as well then, since I assume they're mainly in the deck to provide lifesteal for Corpsetaker. Plated Beetle is probably a decent replacement.
Edit: Or maybe the Anklebiter is useful for self-damage to upgrade your Lesser Amethyst Spellstone, since this deck isn't allowed to run Hellfire or Dread Infernal. In that case, don't replace it.
