Don't take statistics based on two days of experimentation as an universal true. Warlock seems to be one of the easiest matchups for Shamans, however many Handlock builds just crush Galakrond Shaman. With my version of Quest Plot Handlock I'm currently 10-3 against Shamans, and it is also performing good against other classes.
But still the expansion just launched and the meta still needs to find its way.
Has Soul Juggler fallen out of favor? I rarely use Demons, but I always had good luck with that guy.
a triple soul juggler is great, the issue with multiple smaller ones is just board space overall - multiple smaller ones are great for popping divine shields, beyond that they don't do much, we're running big demons, not token generating ones so jugglers just don't shine.
Well going for a specific build is never a good idea in BG as you might not be offered any demons or wrath weaver. Also demons suffer from the same thing as beasts being they are just big piles of stats. They will be destroyed late game against murlocs, mechs or menagerie builds. But if you like it go for it ;) Jaraxxus was one my favorite heroes when I started playing BG even before the buff, but there are just better heroes and team compositions out there.
Oh I know, they don't stand a chance vs a board of murlocs with Poisonous + Divine shield :) still finishes top 4 often enough to be worth while though.
Disclaimer: The random nature of Battlegrounds doesn't always allow for this build and it is by no means a tier 1 build, I've seen it being quite consistent, however, as everyone seems to gravitate towards Mechs, Beasts or Murlocs. This is my own personal take on Demons, you don't have to agree with it and I'd appreciate pointers and constructive suggestions to improve it. (I have never not finished top 4 while using this)
I'm still playing around with this at the moment and I'll update this if I find a better way of doing things.
Jaraxxus - We'll have at least 3-5 Demons on the board at all times, his hero power shines later on, especially when you have an active Annihilan Battlemaster(for the +1 attack rather than health).
Lich Baz'Hial - Lich ramps stats on Floating Watcher and Wrath Weaver faster than anyone else, damaging herself for Floating Watcher and gaining more coins to potentially buy more Demons, because of this her health is arguably the most valuable of the 3 and ultimately harder to play due to skill and the random nature of minions appearing.
Triple Priority
Wrath Weaver:Highest - you'll generally have 1x Wrath Weaver on the board unless you have two Floating Watcher on the board too, it's ok to drop a second then but generally you want to keep the second back purely to proc a triple.
Nightmare Amalgam:High - Triple this if you want to, you can run two of them for poison purposes but I generally only run one of them for more board space/freedom.
Floating Watcher: N/A - Never triple this, poison is so busted at the moment and easy to obtain, putting all of your eggs in one basket is just stupid. The general idea is to have two massive Floating Watcher, one huge Nightmare Amalgam and a decently statted Annihilan Battlemaster, anything beyond that is just a bonus.
Card Priority
Wrath Weaver:Required - The build simply doesn't function without this card, with the exception of Lich Baz'Hial who can damage herself! always have one of these in play, the only reason to ever drop a second on the field is if you have a second Floating Watcher, never drop more than one if you don't have it, you're just wasting Health at that point, just hold the second in your hand for a triple opportunity.
Floating Watcher:Highest- the build can technically work without it by using Brann Bronzebeard + lots of Demon buffing cards but realistically you want Floating Watchers, two of them.
Mal'Ganis:Extremely High - Mal'Ganis while technically disposable if you need board space, allows you to continuously buff your Wrath Weaver, a triple Wrath Weaver can get really out of control, the biggest I've had was 14X/14X by constant demon cycle thanks to an early Mal'Ganis. Also, keep in mind that this will stop your Floating Watcher from growing as they only activate when you take damage.
Nightmare Amalgam:High - while not 100% required, having at least one Poisonous minion with Taunt and Divine Shield will be beneficial when placed at the right side of your board.
Maexxna:Medium - Free poisonous minion, great for getting through an early match taunt, not much else to be said.
Annihilan Battlemaster:Medium - I'm putting this as Medium because you don't really need it until very late game, generally when you're sub 20 Health, ideally its great to triple and great to activate with Brann (if you have the board space) try and give it 20+ attack and watch this thing rip apart none poisonous boards like it's going out of fashion)

2 days of statistics that have yielded thousands of games is a good enough sample size to rate the power level of the deck.

"Shaman is not that strong" win statistics say otherwise. People trying to defend shaman in hopes of it not being nerfed, kind of funny.

I dunno, I find demons are less used than beasts, murlocs and mechs so its easier to find demons.

Soul Juggler builds would revolve around Voidlord and Imp Gang Boss

I'll straighten the post up tomorrow when I'm more sober.

Demon Build
Top 3 Hero Picks for Demons
Patchwerk - 10 Extra health is HUGE for buffing Floating Watcher and Wrath Weaver.

This card makes no sense. Rexxar didn't use a hammer as a melee weapon, he threw it at things.
