I always play at least one thoughsteal in my decks, preferably two. Not because it makes most matchups better, but because it's fun.

It's quite bad vs aggro, and perhaps not better than decent vs control. But when you thoughsteal Force + Roar, Golden Monkey, or Reno, it makes it worth it.

Just like I'm going to play Yogg-Saron in most decks no matter how bad the overall playerbase say the card is.

Thank you. Hearthstone needs more people like you that appreciate the fun aspect of RNG.

In Control priest, i would run 1 probably after a certain rank. It feels bad when you don't have the time to play such an amazing card with all the aggro around.
Double golden version here, still waiting to be used ^^

yup got my two golden Thoughtsteals waiting on Standard. gotta find space for them in Deathrattle Priest. ALway stry to run atleast 1 definitely want to fit in 2.

    Quote from Garlicnerd >>

This is a really bad card. I don't understand what the deal is with all the terrible cards priest has gotten in this set. Not one of the Priest cards shown so far looks definitively good or certain to see play.

Ok, lets break this card down and look at all the reasons why its terrible. Lets say that, since Thoughtsteal is 3 mana that this effect, getting a card from your opponent's deck is worth 1.5 mana. Now that's not actually true since Thoughtsteal is basically just a worse version of Arcane Intellect and Priests have Power Word: Shield but whatever. That leaves it at about 0.7 mana for this effect if we're being generous. So, how much is a 4/3 worth. Not 3 mana, I'll tell you that much. For most classes probably 2.6 mana, maybe even 2.4 since cards like Wrathguard (and I guess Succubus) don't see play. For Priest, its probably worth even less since higher health is so much more important for Priest. Dark Cultist is a 3/4 which is better stat distribution but It still only barely made it into some decks. You can argue that that's because the 3-slot is very crowded for Priests but who's to say the 4-slot isn't just as full. You've already got Auchenai Soulpriest, Elise Starseeker and Holy Champion as major contenders.

So what do we have? We have a 2.3 mana body with a 0.7 mana effect. Lets say that since you're packaging them together that's an extra 0.5 mana. So we get that Shifting Shade is a minion with an estimated value of 3.5 mana that costs instead 4. That's not very good. On top of that you don't even get the card immediately. You have to wait for it to die. And we haven't even started seriously comparing it to other cards. Compare Shifting Shade to Polluted Hoarder which is a card most have agreed is not very good. You're getting 1 more health but a worse card and its in a class that would never want to run Polluted Hoarder. I can't believe so many people are so blind to how bad this card is.

When Amaz was streaming with Trump earlier this week they were asking about each others cards. Trump asked Amaz if his card was good and he responded "yeah, its actually pretty good." Coincidentally that's the same thing he said about Curse of Rafaam. Amaz is a joke. He's not a good person. He tries to cheat people out of what's rightfully theirs. He's not even good at the game.

How could any of you ever vote for him? This card is punishment from beyond for not voting for Princess Huhuran.

     just wow; that escalated quickly.....

This card would be very impressive at 0 or 1 mana, but unless we get some creative new healing spells, this is going to be tough to play. It reminds me of Lock and Load, which is actually a really good card, but hasn't seen much play at all. (Though, maybe that's just because face hunter is still a better deck.

i knew id see you in here commenting. im happy for this as an additional activator for CoH board clear primarily. cause dealing with early board has been a long standing issue for priest.

Got Mill House from Tavern Brawl pack and could not have been happier. He is one of the few legendaries I needed to further complete my collection. Only need Nozdormu, Onyxia, Elite Tauren Chieftain, Mukla, and Nat Pagle and then i have a complete collection. At least until WoG comes out.

lol you sound so salty. Last I checked though the two top rated decks for this brawl belong to Hunter and Mage so not sure where you are getting your facts from but GGWP.

You must have misread it or perhaps it's been edited. But it says "Play the same cancer as everyone; nah too boring; this is tavern brawl." Suggesting Priest is not cancer (as everyone else is playing). Standing up for The Light here!

Plus one for you for understanding. Need more people like you around.

shouldnt really be looking to craft anything right now with the new expansion around the corner. that being said i crafted a gold one when TGT came out cause i love the card and RNG mechanic. also im a diehard priest main. Only class i have golden portrait for and lvl 60. craft it if u really are  into the card or class id say cause you will find use for it one way or another if you are.

posted a message on Does Priest Equal Annoying?

Priest is one of the few fair classes left in the game that hasn't gotten some OP cancercous deck archtype similar to how Shaman has aggro shaman, Hunter has Face hunter, Paladin has Secret Paldin, Mage has Tempo Mage, Rogue has Oil Rogue, etc.  Priests gotta scratch and claw against all the odds for every match and earn each duel through arduous and skillful play to survive the early game and stabilize in time for the late game.
