The missing 4 drop Stealth minion to match Jungle Panther and Stranglethorn Tiger, this one comes with the utility of being able to break the Stealth to deal some extra surprise damage.
Fits both the Rogue fantasy of an undercover agent being able to either stealthily infiltrate or surprise ambush, and also the Hunter fantasy of stalking prey under cover and then pouncing out from the shadows.

So, I would just like to point out that 100% chance to attack the wrong enemy is actually better than 50% chance because the effect is more controllable and predictable. If you don't want this to accidentally hit a minion you don't want to hit, just target it and you'll always hit a different character. The drawback becomes more of a drawback the more minions your opponent has.

are you braindead? it is 1 mana 1/1 at the very very WORST. If its your 2nd jade golem its a 1 mana 2/2 and so on. Works with fendral. Insane as hell.

I just checked page 5 and two cards made it through - Stitches and Cannon Volley with 18 and 19 votes respectively... yet another card which ALSO had 18 votes, Foreman Feldspar, did not.
Furthermore, the card with 20 votes on page 4 did not make it through (and neither did the two cards with 18 votes)
What the heck is going on?

He repeats everything you say in a squeaky parrot voice.
Examples:
"Hello" "Hello"
"My magic will tear you apart" "My magic will tear you apart"
"You face Jaraxxus. Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion." "You face Jaraxxus. Eredar Lord of the Burning Legion."

Life is a cycle
The design of the card is to help combo Rogues draw into what they need.

Secret Paladin is easy to pilot, that's where it gets its reputation. It has strong on-curve minions at every mana point from 1 to 8 (although some lists will contract that to 2-7) and just chucking those things down will win by sheer brute force a decent amount of the time, even with sub-optimal play. Even so it is very easy to make a deck with strong on-curve plays and these kind of Midrange decks are generally pretty bad. The entire strength of Secret Paladin is based around Mysterious Challenger and if that card was nerfed, even slightly, Secret Paladin would die out on the ladder immediately. Overall I think Challenger may be slightly OP but nerfing it would kill the archetype, so you have to be careful.

Flavor text: But how does this benefit me?
Rewards Beast Hunter for having a board late game.

Time based gold is a terrible idea since it promotes roping every single turn. It would make ladder a very boring place.
Turn based gold is a bad idea from Blizzards point of view because it promotes both collusion at low ranks to farm gold as well as for players with big collections farming gold from real rank 20 players with poor collections (ie stalling the game out forever while the weak player doesn't realise).
The current system is the best because it rewards the one thing on ladder that all players should be striving for - WINNING. Not any kind of weird unhealthy plays that extend turns or the game length.
