As for Keeper, they said they want to keep silence away from the game for now. They intentionally nerfed both Owl and Keeper to a point of unplayability, because they wanted to delete good silences from the game. That's also the reason why allmighty Purify doesn't target opponent's minions. Blizzard currently doesn't like silence, that's all.

"Draw 2" is extremely powerful on no matter how sized body. Even 4/5. For such effect to be really balanced the body should be uber small, what would also probably make the card trash. I think there really was no way to balance Lore and keep its flavour - it would always be either op or terrible. Simply badly designed card.

But Arcane intellect is 3 mana no? A 4/5 is a 4 mana card no? This card doesn't even come close to breaking even on value anymore and it's a class card. Class cards are supposed to be better than average in terms of strength. I agree that it was overpowered before but the nerf was too much. I think a 4/4 body would be balanced.
Not only that, but what about Spellbreaker? That card is a 3 mana body with a silence at 4 mana. The nerf to ironbeak was ridiculous. Why couldn't they make the body be a 2/2 at least?
Not only that, but they don't like Silences? Tf does that mean? Currently aggro decks are dominating the meta with the cards that they introduced and they were worried that silences were just too op? I just feel like they have no vision and that their nerfs were overkill and that the only nerf that was really fair was the Force of Nature nerf and Master of disguise nerf. Besides that, every card they nerfed is now completely unplayable.

I'm honestly curious as to why Blizzard nerfs cards to the point where they are awful.

One card I was thinking about specifically was Keeper of the Grove.

A 2/2 for 4 mana? What were they thinking here? I don't get it. Not only that, but this card is clearly worse than most neutral minions.

Disciple of C'thun isn't even that great of a card in my opinion, yet it is 1 less mana for only -1 health. And it's a neutral minion.

Why did they make it an unplayable 2/2 instead of a somewhat playable 2/3?

It just seems like they nerf cards in order to take them out of play completely.

Same thing with Ancient of Lore when they got rid of its card draw. I mean, 1 card is a HUGE nerf. Couldn't they have just nerfed the stats to 4/5 or 4/4 or something like that?

Can someone explain what they think Blizzard's thought process here is?

broken card, even if it wasn't broken the stats would have to be god awful to be not broken. Of course you gave it vanilla stats lol.

I could mention a million broken things you can do with this. How about we start with 2 renos?

Can you explain how 2 Renos would be broken in the current meta? Aggro Shaman usually dispatches the opponent somewhere around turns 5-8, you have to remember that this card would be replacing a card in your deck that you could be using to control the board. I do agree though that it shouldn't have good stats.

I don't know anything about World of Warcraft lore but I have an interesting idea for a new legendary that allows you to break deck making rules.

My thinking is that the card could be a vanilla 3 or 4 drop that has 3/4 or 4/5 stats but its effect is that it allows you to, during the construction of your deck, put more than 2 of a non legendary card OR more than 1 of a legendary card.

I don't know how balanced this would be but I feel like it would be pretty meta-defining and would help slower decks that are control orientated.

    What do you guys think?

EDIT: The card should have crappy stats, maybe something like a 3 mana 2/2

    Quote from NestorQuinn >>

Aggro players dont have to cry, since their decks are on the upper side of the meta. Reason why control players complain more is simple - there is no working control deck that can consistently have positive winrate with the ammount of mess (yes, im looking at you huntards) on the ladder. While u have aggro shamman, huntards, dragon warrs, tempo mages etc, u dont have any control. Thats it.

My friend got to Legend playing control Warrior. He had a 72% win rate last season. Sometimes it's the pilot, not the deck.

Dude. Be angry at Worgen combo, then. Be angry at freeze mage. Yogg can do things, other cards can do things. There are a lot of other cards that consolidate a board turn better than yogg unless in very specific and unlikely situations. Just sit down and think for 5 sec.

Be angry at shit you can actually play around and predict? Lol. Not only that but Freeze Mage really is only decent right now. I don't see why someone would be mad at it. OTK Worgen can be played around too. Yogg can't.

I can't believe people are defending a card that you can't play around at all.
