After seeing these new Priest cards, I am so excited... Lightbomb, what a game changer for Priest, probably the best Counter Rush card in the game.

I really like this card, it should pair well with a lot of the new mechs, mainly because many of the mechs have large health pools. Giving you the chance to heal more often. It seems like it might be harder to get hits off than with knife Juggler, mainly needing larger combos to get sufficient procs, otherwise with only 1 damage a turn, might be better off with a different minion. Only time will tell, I do like the possibilities.

Tree of Life: "All characters". So I could be at 1 HP and 9 mana... use ToL and bing!
    30HP, defensive much! :D

I see some VERY long games between Priest and Druid, super fatigue.

And I wouldn't quite call the Mechanical Yeti power creep. Its the same exact thing, because BOTH players get the spare part. It equals/cancels itself out.

Make sure to look at the cards on the Left side in small pictures, alot of new ones listed. So many! Pure awesome.

I am loving the Priest class Knife Juggler, and the Anti-secret minion.

posted a message on Some old minions who could be changed to Mech for GVG

Blizzard has already said their changing some of those to Mech. Harvet Golem is confirmed, doubt the Arcane Golem would be though, nothing mechanical about it. Not sure on the Alarm-o-Bot or the Demolisher, Alarm-o-Bot probably, Gelbins Inventions are also becoming Mech.

posted a message on Hearthpwn Sample Starting Hand Tool

I think it would be a good tool... I mean its pretty easy to figure out what your chances are for drawing something specific, so it's not really needed. But could be useful so you can get a better feel for it rather then having to do the math in your head on mulligan phase.

I made a spread sheet showing all the %'s for going 1st & 2nd, depending on how many cards I keep and their mana costs. With additional slots I can plug in my decks mana curve and it calculates chances to get a certain mana cost card. Really quite useful when play testing new decks to find the optimal cards to mulligan and/or keep. I'm a very stat oriented player, I like finding the most efficient and optimal way to play.

A little more advanced than what you suggested, but if made into an app, could be useful for a lot of people.

posted a message on How important will Silence become in GvG?

If Bolvar and Gahz'rilla are any indication of the class Legendarys to come, we will be running quite a bit more silence... Those are some scary minions.

posted a message on Season 8 round-up, Malygos shaman: Damn cant wait for GvG! (+Shaman deck Theorycraft)

It looks like a fun build. Experimented with Maly in different classes but didn't pursue it, might give this a try later. I enjoy Shaman but its really hit or miss, I just don't get the consistency with it like Priest or Handlock. I'm glad GvG will hopefully shake that up though.

On a side note, nice spread sheet. If you didn't know, there are a couple auto stat trackers out there. I use: http://hearthstonetracker.com/

It's 100% accurate, and keeps track of a lot of different things. Might make it easier, just a suggestion if your interested.

posted a message on Blingtron 3000 vs Nozdormu

Nozdormu is rather useless most of the time, sure every once in a while you might catch you opponent off guard... Blingtron can actually be useful, you just need to include 2 oozes and/or Harrison and it could be a big threat.

posted a message on What legend to craft for priest?

Sylvanas is included in almost 100% of all Priest decks. She fits with the theme of Priest and gives the deck more control. SW:D is not the goal, but it is a usable option if you need to steal something before a board wipe/silence. Aside from that, Sylvanas is a great card in almost any other deck/classe and overall probably the most popular/useful legendary in the game. Probably my favorite card in the game too, not being biased by saying all this either, shes just a great minion.

Edit: That's a very interesting Priest deck, I kinda like it... Looks like a Tempo Priest =) Looks a little top heavy, but the Divine Spirits should make your minions last longer and even out the mana curve.

Only a deck/hero that you like will keep you interested enough to play it continuously... We can't make that decision for you. Either of the Miracle druids listed can reach legend. The recipe for Legend is 25% deck, 50% persistence, and 25% Skill. Just pick something and start playing.

posted a message on Malygos Control Priest Ladder Climber

Definitely fun. I took out Ysera, and added in some Zombie Chow. An Auchenai + 2x Zombie Chow + CoH = 10 damage, plus they are great for early board control if you need em.

I like Priest and Druid. Both are very versatile classes, and work at any rank. The Miracle Druid is decent, I haven't played much with that specific build, but the games I did play were interesting and fun. Mainly I play a standard deathrattle Priest which is a little more complicated to be good at, it gives a good win-rate vs aggro (breaks about even) and a great win-rate vs everything else.

If you just want something easier that can pump out wins while your still learning the contents of decks your facing, go with a Zoolock or Huntertaker. One of these would probably be the better until you get more comfortable and because the season just reset ladder is going to be absolutely crammed with Hunters and Locks.

Knowing what decks you are most likely to come across and what cards are in those decks is one of the most important aspects of the game. If you don't know what they can do to counter your plays, your just putting stuff down to see what happens and you cant do that. Before you do any play you need to know, by looking at their mana, and how many cards they have in their hand, along with how far they are into their deck, and what has already been played, to figure out whats the possibility your cards are going to get AoEed or hard removaled. It's a lot easier to say this than to actually do it. This kind of knowledge comes with experience, and why it's better to use only 2 decks for the most part.

One thing that I did when I first started getting serious about playing... Go back and watch some pro tournaments and such, not only watch though. Pick a side (try to cover the enemy's cards), and after every draw, pause it and see what move you would make. Then see what the player actually did, if it's not the same move you would have made, figure out how you think your move would have turned out, and why the professional made the play they did. It's not usually huge differences that separate the average player from the great, it's very small ones you normally wouldn't notice.
