Pretty simple: It's a TB where you can only use Legendary cards. You're not restricted to those in your collection (hence the rental part) and non-minion ones are fair game, so feel free to go ham.
The flavor is that it's a Rastakhan's Rumble pre-show bout or dark match.
I never suggested that, just figured such cards would be somewhat likely to go with if such a thing were to happen (outside Quests, which do it to themselves anyway).
If they get lucky off of Grimestreet Informant it could be a thing, but nothing that would break a meta (especially not a Wild meta) since it's so unlikely.
To clarify, it initially affects the formerly-right-most card and the next card to enter the player's hand; even if it hits your own face from
Misdirection
and gives
you
the token.
EDIT: Obviously, the disco refers to the discard mechanic, but the "dancer"-part was also ment as a reference to the left-right mechanic (as dance steps).
I'd be okay with this being the knockout win for the comp if the effect was a passive and not a permanent. Being able to discard Clutchmother Zavas 4-5 times (it returns to the same spot in the hand, right?) would make a permanent effect like this very dangerous. Nope, returns on the right. Disregard that.
(Whoops, forgot the Mech tribe) Initially this was supposed to be something that throws/shoots a Hunk of Junk, but I couldn't find fitting art for that. Not sure if this would really count since it's not direct hand position.
Basically it'd initially make the formerly rightmost card and whatever enters their hand next cost extra until it's played. If the frostbitten player plays the card to its left, the effect moves to its new neighbor just like things like Dire Wolf Alpha buffs. Be careful with Mind Vision and Chameleos; if they copy this, it could be trouble.
It should proc even if you have a full tray, as well as once per crystal (two Treants on
Nourish
ramp, fill your board when breaking a
Twig of the World Tree
, etc).
Would it be better to say "Costs and deals (1) less" or keep it as it is? It's meant to do less damage if your opponent has a wide board (on a full board it's just Consecration). It's an old idea of mine, but that one was 10 Mana & 8 damage.

Really surprised they didn't give MCT (as well as Hero cards) a hard ban from Arena; i.e. can't be drafted or generated.

You only need one Galvanizer (Prep-Plank is 1 Mana). Myra's Unstable Element can also speed things up if you get your combo early.

I had my own idea on something rarity-based, but I think it counts as generation:
Kind of a 4th-wall break; dusting a Golden card gives you the Dust to craft a non-Golden of the same Rarity.

On one minion it's 10 Mana 8 damage, on two it's 9 Mana 7 damage, and so on down to 4 Mana 2 damage on a full board.

A bit of an odd concept I've had for a while now:
