posted a message on Thoughts on the Upcoming Hall Of Fame Roation?

As I play Wild, I do not care about the rotation or HOF other than I hope they do as they did with Molten Giant. Move Wild Growth and Nourish to HOF and unnerf them. I don't love Jade Druid, but I miss a viable combo druid deck. They could also do it for other nerfed classic cards. (and unnerf Yogg, so we can have some fun - the card will never enter competitive anyway.)

I agree. It's like if they nerfed Preperation it would Kill Rogue's class identity or Concecration.. These cards are very strong but only appear "broken" when Blizz prints overpowered cards that should be nerfed instead.

    You don’t get it.

Blizzard needs to keep on printing strong cards.  If some evergreen card like Prep makes these strong cards OP, then the former is the card that has to go.  Otherwise, it will limit design space FOREVER.  And Prep is almost certainly going to be nerfed or HOFed sooner or later.  Quest Rogue, still going strong after three nerfs, could not exist without Prep.

If they are unhappy with the classic set, then they should rotate the cards and put old expansion cards in. People love playing with these cards and should be able to do so in wild. If Rogue loose Prep, then the class can only play one thing and that is tempo/aggro. There are no more combo or miracle rogue.

There is no reason to do away with the Classic set in its entirety.  Only the broken cards have to be removed.  Prep will go sooner or later.  And it won’t be the only Rogue card to go.  Now that Druid is in check, Rogue has by far the best Evergreen set.

There is a reason to rethink the whole classic set setup. Like they have to print a new priest AOE every 6 mounths, so Priest have a chance in standard. Just move one of the old once into standard (example: the next two expantions, dragonfire potion is in the rotation, the next two it could be something different.) And as said in this threat, these card like Prep, Wild Growth etc. is why the classes are as they are. If you remove it (forever) then there are no identity left for the classes. If Blizzard want the classes to chance things up in standard they should rotate some of the classic set (and do it more often).

I agree with your post. Warrior has the wost win rate in wild, and in stadard they are only a thing because of the OP card Baku. The control options can't keep up with the aggro there are today. And the biggest problem with nerfing Wild Growth is, as you said, they made all cards around it. If you look at a Druid deck today, you build it without 2 mana cards. Becauce there are no good 2 mana cards, that a control or combo Druid would ever consider (besides maybe Wrath. I don't know if they just want all classes to be tempo classes or what? Control Mage is also dead as soon as the DK rotates.

posted a message on I'm filled with mediocore Legendaries [What should I do?]

I do not know your other legendaries, but you could look up DaneHearth's Big Rogue for Kel'thuzad. Actually, he has some fun decks for most of the legendaries you list. But it is fun deck and not meta plus 50% winrate. Shrilvallah and Lynessa Sunsorrow is good in most OTK Paladin.

Yes the game it not decided enough by draw RNG, let us have more of that! and don't let players see more than 10 cards from a 30 card deck - great idear... haha.

posted a message on Should I dust priest?

I would not dust your collection. I also mainly play priest. I startet to play in Ungoro and there are ups and downs for the class, but it is possible to make it work. I now manly play wild where Renopriest is a lot fun to play (look under this message to see the deck I took to legend). Innerfire Priest is also a fine deck, as people don't counter it. I know it is hard to play wild if your are free-to-play but hope you stick to it.

The dev team nerfed Aviana, so they clearly pay some attention to the Wild format. The Avianna/Kun combo was broken, so they fixed it.

Big Priest isn't broken - it's just a powerful build (at least when it plays Barnes on curve). But it gets crushed by popular decks like Odd Rogue. And it's not nearly as infuriating as Even Shaman, IMO.

I think the Aviana nerf was a mistake. She was not a problem until Juicy Psychmelon. Aviana and Kun enabled some combo which were cool and made it so, that Jade Druid was not the only Druid deck to be played. A specally after the other Druid nerfs it is to bad they nerfed Aviana and not Juicy Psychmelon. The combos with Aviana and Kun requiers 5-7 cards in hand, so was not more broken than Exodia Mage.

With Even Shaman, you should be favored when you playing Reno Priest. Can I see your decklist? I win most of my games against them.

Under my message there are the deck I went to legend with this season. It does really well. The only thing you need to do is remove minions and calculate the amout of damage you can do.

If I was you, I would look at some Renolock or Renopriest. I have some list ;) . But those two are the best for the meta - as control decks. Where Renopriest are better in my opinion, as it has a chance against Big Priest.

I could not agree more on Genn and Baku and made a threat about it and why they need to fundamentally need to change. Genn and Baku is not a downside at all. Why else is every top tier deck in both standard and wild?
The root of the problem is so much free value/aggression that the hero power creates. I hope Blizzard learns from this and see "start of game" is not a good mechanic and should not exist.

I would complain about Odd Rouge and Even Shaman, and have indirectly by saying that Baku and Genn need a work around. The two cards are destorying deckbuilding. fx. Even (aggro) Shaman don't want to run one of the most broken one drops ever in Tunnel Trogg, and control Odd Warrior drop control cards like Exicute and Blood Razor. I think the two decks (Odd Rouge and Even Shaman) make Pirate Warrior look like an midrage deck! but I think people don't comlain because Big Priest is based about highroll and are so draw dependent.

posted a message on What do you think about nerfing fireball ?

They should stop nerfing classic and basic cards! They should move them to hall of fame if anything. The best thing would be to rotate the classic/basic set. Druid could as an example have some periods with both Wild Growth and Nourish at (2) and (5) mana and some periods with one of them or non of them. Then they could rotate Wild cards in to replace them. This would also mean that Priest could have a different board clear in basic/classic set, so they did not have to print a new one, then one is about to move to wild.
And no, I do not think it would be to confussion!
