Something for mill rogue now that coldlight is leaving.  When this goes off, you'll burn at least two cards (1 immediately and 1 at the start of your opponent's next turn) but its balanced by the fact that its easy to play around by simply not ending your turn with 8 or more cards.  Even if you try to fill your opponent's hand on your turn, they will still have their own turn to try to get under 8 cards before this goes off.

New idea. The Zombeasts might be a bit overdone by now, but I haven't yet given it a go, so I'll at least give it a try. It's the hunter take on Divine Favor.

    Thanks for the feedback!
My main concern with this card is the amount of time it would take to play.  Creating a zombeast is basically the equivalent of discovering two cards - this card could make you discover up to 20 cards.  There is a good chance of roping yourself if you have to make a lot of them.  Maybe if it gave you random zombeasts instead so you take the crafting portion out?  You could probably drop the mana cost if you did it that way too.
Also, I'm not sure exactly how to phrase it, but I might try to style this card as something like "Craft a Zombeast.  If there are more cards in your opponent's hand than yours, cast this again."  That way you always get at least get one zombeast and its not a dead card when your hand is bigger.

Thoughts?  Its a strong effect that will usually end up burning at least 2 cards (one immediately and one at the start of the next turn) but I think that's balanced around how easy it would be to play around.  Wanted to give a good mill option now that Coldlight is rotating out.

One of the things I always want in Hearthstone is more counterplay options.  Too often it just feels like two people playing solitaire and seeing who wins first.  This card gives you lots of options to handle different situations, including a board full of Voidlords.

I missed the thread and voting. >_<

Seems like that's the case for lots of people.  Almost no turnout in any of these threads recently.  Kind of disappointing.

Voted for Rearm and Nimble Snake.

I like Zombified Taxidermist but it seems crazy overpowered.  It's the same statline as Vryghoul for 1 less mana and in nearly every instance it will give you something better than a vanilla 2/2.

Also, what is the cutoff for number of cards needed on the final page of the submission thread for it to count as its own page?  With only 6 submissions on page 5, I figured it would get combined with page 4 but that doesn't seem to have happened.

Intended as a new version of Loatheb with some elemental synergy for Shaman.

posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition 7.03 Final Poll

Very weird week for balance since the prompt requires everyone to make cards that would be OP as standalone cards.  I'm voting for Helm of Domination, Mosh Pit, and Master Stone since they feel the most fun to me.  Also, the lack of love for Dream Cards makes me very sad.

Honorable mention to "There Must Always Be..." and "Get 'em Arfus," both of which are absolutely dripping in flavor.  But the former is a dead card in your hand until the Lich King dies (what if you get it from Arfus?) and the latter is just a 2 mana "deal 2 damage" that recycles itself, which feels weak for a DK card.

To avoid confusion, this IS a Dream Card and not a hunter card that generates Dream Cards.  Ysera yawns and puts something else to sleep.  Can be used offensively or defensively.

Interesting theme this week.  All these cards are supposed to feel a little OP but not overly so.  Here is a variation on a card I have considered in past weeks.  Idea is that sleepy Ysera makes others sleepy because yawns are more infectious than the plague.  The card can be used on your own minions for extra Dreams or it can be used on an enemy minion as a form of removal.  Either choice comes at a cost.

(And in case it isn't clear, this is, itself, a Dream Card and not a hunter card that generates Dream Cards)

Thoughts?  Unless people hate the idea, its probably what I'm going to go with but I'm struggling on figuring out an appropriate mana cost.  I'm thinking 3 might be more appropriate.

Thought I'd make a Ysera card. Excuse the weird card background on the Hero Card.

guys, you're not suposed to make cards that generate the tokens, you're meant to make THE TOKENS!
anyway, here's my idea for this comp for marin (i added the dragon in photoshop, son't know how to do it in hearthcards):

As I said in the post you quoted, that IS the token.  Can't help the fact the Dream cards look like hunter spells.
I like the idea of your card (kind of like that one dungeon run reward) but there seems to be one fairly large flaw: If you combo that with bonemare, sunfury protector, ardent defender, or any other card that gives another minion taunt then you have an unkillable wall as long as you don't attack with it.

Struggled this week to come up with something unique but I'm pretty happy with the result.

The intention is that your opponent would not be able to tell which minion (friend or foe) had this ability.  But since this counters all targeted spells, including your own, you also would need to play around this card or else you would reveal to your opponent which minion has this ability.

My very first entry for the card design competition, can anyone confirm if the idea was taken before. Thanks :D

I don't think the idea's been taken, but I also don't think that card works.  A warlock's deck isn't going to have secrets in it so the only secret that could get pulled out by your card is a second copy of your card (which would pull out nothing).

posted a message on DEATHWING NEEDS A FRIENDWING (Class Creation Competition #4) - Phase I [Discussion Topic]

Here's my idea.  Thanks in advance for any and all feedback.

    Class Idea: The Chirurgeon

Deathwing doesn't have time for those who rely on the light, the Naaru, or the Loa to heal from the safety of their cushy little thrones.  Deathwing needs someone ready to roll up his sleeves, wade into the center of a battle, and quickly get the troops back on their feet.  Enter the Chirurgeon - a unique healing class that isn't afraid to get bloody.  The Chirurgeon is all about keeping his minions on the field as long as possible.  The new class mechanic, First Aid, provides immediate assistance the moment a minion takes damage.  (Usually First Aid will provide healing but it also can provide other defensive options).  As a front-line healer, the Chirurgeon wields weapons with surgical precision.  He'll patch you up, but the treatment may be even worse than the wound.
