HSReplays is currently tracking four different Rogue builds with win-rates above 50%. Tess is played in one of those builds about half the time. She's also played in "Pick Pocket" Rogue - that particular deck appears to be meme-tier, with a win-rate below 40%. Altogether, the class has a play-rate of about 11%. I suspect that the folks claiming that "Rogue is never meta" are likely posting while drunk.
There aren't really any good stats for Wild - if you look at the card, she's been played 16,000 times in the format, with a win-rate of 50%. However, there doesn't appear to be anything like a well-defined decklist for any Tess build in the format - unlike Kingsbane Rogue, or Quest Rogue, Miracle Rogue, etc, the new card is prompting a lot of experimentation in the older format, and no one seems to have discovered the "best build" for the card. However, a 50% win-rate for a bunch of unrefined lists (for one of the weaker classes in Wild) seems pretty good, all things considered . . .
Let me repeat myself, Rogue is NEVER meta. I have played Rogue for over 3000 ranked wins, and I have not once played against another Rogue.
I have been dying to ask this question and have it answered by so many people on this board: do you actually know what "meta" means? Because so many times, I wonder if you do.
I wish every Rogue card that said "from your opponent's class" instead said "from another class" just to avoid this. It seems ridiculous that they'd push a "from your opponent's class" archetype so hard but in ~1/3 of your matches it's completely useless.
Luckily, Rogue is never meta, so mirror matchups never happen.
Absolutely. In fact, there's a real Shudderlock loose in Blizzard HQ right now. It's locked itself in a board meeting with the executives and is forcing them to listen about his jaw and claws.

"He needed PRECISELY that card"
Next: A card that makes a pun. If you can't fit it all into the card itself, feel free to add a short description that completes the pun.

Quite possibly the most broken card I've ever made, but it's for Hunter, so it's still weak.
Next: A 1 mana Hunter card.

Me, an intellectual:
Before anyone asks, the Darkness isn't just there because of memes, it's to fuck over people relying on Spiteful.
