    Strange times are these in which we live.

    It is the era of social media but in fact it is harder to reach out to people than when people used a fucking telegraph. Blizzard have official forums, unofficial forums, multiple social media accounts, every developer have a personal media account and it is still impossible to suggest anything because all of this is used for propaganda while all the suggestions go to right to the trash can.

    Strange times indeed.

     Also what's in it for Blizzard to make an enforced winrate?

    Make their target group happy? No one would pay for the game where they suck all the time, so enforced winrate ensures people win from time to time unless they are losing on purpose. The better you become at the game the less rewarding it becomes.

    So the system would match you against counter classes...

    That would imply that the system is unfair to part of the players and keen to the rest ? That doesn't make sense.

    It makes perfect sense actually. How otherwise would you enforce 50% winrate

    In before "enforce winrate is a myth" I'll tell you a story. When league of legends became popular but before the leagues were introduced all the people at the top ratings had ~55% winrate. Pretty much like in Heartstone most of them have been there because they spent monstrous amount of time playing the game. But what it came to team games in League of Legends certain teams of 55% winrate players (namely CLG and TSM) beaten the shit out of teams of other 55% winrate players. It was painful to watch how bad some people were yet they had been playing on the same ratings. Same happens in heartstone when all those multi-legend players can't do jackshit against tournament level players yet they are on the same fucking rank.

    Making a system that has enforced 50% winrate in a team is a child's level task, even when it comes to team based games. In solo games it is even easier.

    So in hearthstone ladder does not mean shit, it is there to stream and make money from entertaining viewers.

    This could also be a guide to new players on how to make a standard, really boring uncreative high performance deck

    So any new players my advise;

    All the cards listed above except Spider Tank, smooth out your curve a little with some class specific minions, fill the rest of your minion curve with neutrals you fancy, add a Ragnaros, add a Sylvanas, add a Big Game Hunter for everyone elses Dr Booms, might want a cheeky Ironbeak Owl for the tricky Sludge Beltcher and then add removal that helps you out against all of the cards mentioned above. Keep a little tally of cards that did well in games, and cards that didnt, keep a little tally of dead cards, keep a list of cards you think will perform well and try them out when you've found a good swap..

    BOOM, high performing, boring ass deck.

    Actually this is exactly how i am doing my daily quests. Literally, all the steps including adding a single owl for sludge belcher. Fill your deck with mechs and send them to your opponents face, finish them off with class spells or support your army of robots if your class spells are not of offensive type. Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring

    We are at the point when playing aggro is boring and playing control is unrewarding. Midrange is just an aggro with a little backup.

    I find it much more enjoyable to play in casual nowdays because all i see in ranked is netdecks. In casual you can face people playing enrage decks, murlocs and pirates or mages with secrets.

    For ranked i can check latest tournament's results to know what decks i will be playing against today - all players have chosen an oil rogue as one of their classes? 7/12 games are against oil rogues. Mech shaman won a big tournament? Okay mech shaman it will be.
