 I made a casino mage and casino rogue and went to play Ranked. Around Rank 8 (which i for whatever reason have after a year of hiatus) i face much worse deck and opponents than in casual. 0_0

It literally feels like people are treating 20-5 Ranked as casual now. At least its my first impression. I am sure as i move closer to Legend ill face only meta and rogue deck trying to counter it but you want see me complaining about competitive format being competitive. Casual tho <_<

Have not played since boomsday hit live. Came back to check out the adventure. Made some decks to do quests meanwhile and went to Casual. Out of 57 games 42 were against people with golden portraits, not a single t2 deck seen, only netdecked rogue, war and mage with some bomb hunters in the mix. Started conceding on purpose after each win to tank mmr, all it done is now i have to wait 10-50 second for a match to face the same t1 decks. 

What the actual fuck? I have not played once in a year, what has happened with a game? I still see people playing it on the phones here and there, are everyone just moved to farming rank 20 or something? 

Not really. Most of the aggro decks are bots so even if you win its give you no real satisfaction.

Honestly there are soooooo many bots sometimes it feels there are more bots than real people playing

A bit too slow for unstable element. 

Id cut Mecharoo for second Fire Fly (keep the 1/2 spark in hand for vilespine combo) and scalebane is a win more card. Just play Moles, slap some cold blood on them and apply as much early game pressure as possible then find finishers with myra's.

Scalebane does not exactly do anything on the turn it is played and either will be killed or the game is in such a state that you could have won it without scalebane anyway.

I am not a big fan of void ripper either, because it does not really help against plague. You will have to run your board into a a wall of 5/1 taunts.  Id play an owl instead but thats a personal preference. 

I am used to oldschool asian MMOrpgs where if you have put some sweet dough into it you could literally fuck the whole game sideways, the amount of power you had over plebs was palpable.

In HS spending cash just puts you on the same level as most of the players in ranked. Casual is the only place where you can flex the power of money by crushing the evercrying f2p leeches

After watching some asian streamer trying to ladder with control warrior and losing at rank 20 to some junk that was put together on a knee ive got a question. How the flying hoot control warrior or control warlock has a positive winrate on 20-5 ladder?

In tournament mode with open playlists and bans you can at least anticipate what threats you are about to face and save up on some of the removal but on ladder you can face a t1 mana wurm followed by lich king, jaina and ysera and you will get your ass kicked because you've spent your removal on a threats at hand. I am not even talking about something wonky likeespionage rogue that pulls threats out of the ass, 

I actually seen a heavily upvoted thread on reddit full of complains about control oriented meta and answers to facehgging being too effective. At the same time an Odd warrior that is like an embodiment of control has to add quest just to have some proactive gameplay plan and a winning condition alternative to just armoring up for 15 minutes.

If you are playing anywhere but the depths of casual mmr then dont play twig. All decks but facehuggers have ooze so your twig is nothing but a 1600 dust that takes a spot in your deck.

I would say that big druid is better than malyduck atm, or at least put mill package in your deck.

 Concede does not help, at least the concede chain. All you will achieve is a gold restriction.

Do what bots do, concede after each win. This way your mmr will always be acceptable enough not to play against golden legenday players with rank 1 cancer all the time. 

If your starting mmr is too high just do two concedes after each game. 

I see more and more players are asking about replacements for Odd Warrior cards hoping for an easy ride to legend because statistics suggest that the deck is a meta crusher. Lets be honest, for most people hearthstone is nothing but a game they play while watching something on a second monitor/phone. If you are trying to save up for a tier one deck you should really consider all ups and downs before putting all eggs in Garosh's basket. 

What statistics does not tell is that how much stress playing for fatigue every second game and still losing puts on you. Losing to an explosive aggro start or answers pulled out of the ass does not help either. Also lets take into account the amount of time it takes to finish the game, most other decks would finish at least twice as many if not more. So even with less winrate they will reach legend as fast as you if not faster just by throwing minions on the board and going face. 

Personally i think CW is a great thing but its so different from play a minion/go face hearthstone routine that instead of meta crushing deck for some people it might become a dream crushing one.  At least find a friend and borrow a deck to play a few of mirror matches for a reality check.

Prince Keleseth on 2 shuts down the game, uninstalls it, battle.net and turns the pc off. Spreading plague is nothing compared to it

Big Warrior is being played by nine out of ten people... who can afford the deck <_<
