LVU posted a message on (PROOF) Anti-Aggro Control #179 NA Legend(EasyLegend)Posted in: (PROOF) Anti-Aggro Control #179 NA Legend(EasyLegend)Hey Superband, thanks for your comment.
Harrison Jones is one of the key cards in this deck because it gives card draw and destroys the weapon. This is very useful against tricky scenarios such as a 3/3 Eaglehorn Bow, or even a 3/2 Rogue weapon which is usually weak against control warriors. This makes Harrison Jones a viable card option in this deck.
However, if you do not have Harrison for any reason, my suggestions will depend on the match-ups you are facing. If you are facing lots of Aggro hunter and zoo, I suggest a Hogger/Cleave/Sunwalker.
If you tend to be facing lots of control matchups, feel free to add a Cairne/Alexstrasza as they are viable options also..
These may be good replacements however if you could get Harrison Jones, I would definitely recommend it.

LegendaryFear posted a message on 5 x legend, my fav warrior ctrlPosted in: 5 x legend, my fav warrior ctrlAlex allows you to not worry much about your opponent's health till you play him and follow up with either Ragnaros or Grommash. But you can definitely replace him if you wish. I have seen some replace him with Ysera, and other even replace him with Onyxia or Cairne. Ultimately though you can take him out and like you suggested try either Cairne or Black Knight depending on what you face. That being said I personally like Alex in control warrior but it is your call. Don't be afraid to experiment with changing different cards to find the decklist that you are most comfortable with.

MrBurned posted a message on Legend S7 No To Soulfire Handlock Version 2Posted in: Legend S7 No To Soulfire Handlock Version 2Awesome deck. Thanks for the mulligan guide as well, it helps a lot. Got me to low single digit ranks pretty fast but I can't be bothered to try and get to legend. :P Hunter seems to be the only bad matchup so far in the ladder

Fluff posted a message on New Improved **Dragon Druid** v2.0 - a new meta - and more fun to play - ramp druid # 75% win ratePosted in: New Improved **Dragon Druid** v2.0 - a new meta - and more fun to play - ramp druid # 75% win rate-1 for having three dragons in a "Dragon Druid" deck... all three are commonly used Legendaries in plenty of decks. So basically nothing special about this and it is undeserving of the name you give it. Faerie Dragon, Twilight Drake and Azure Drake are all strong cards that have no reason to be ignored in a deck that claims to be not serious. You also left out the other half of the Dragon legendaries (Onyxia, Deathwing and Nozdormu). I am extremely upset about leaving out Nozdormu as he is an awesomely fun card to play and the first of the previously mentioned Dragons that should have been included since he's awesome. I hit Rank 6 during season 1 with Nozdormu in my deck. Toss a Sunfury Protector next to him, and the 15 second turn that follows is extremely hilarious.
Despite the name, the deck looks fun. Kind of sad no one else was disappointed to see only three dragon type cards.

wbm1113 posted a message on Legend S7 No To Soulfire Handlock Version 2Posted in: Legend S7 No To Soulfire Handlock Version 2This deck is great. I've actually been rolling over hunters in my first few ranks (probably just because it's rank 15-20, though). If I don't run my taunts into freezing trap, they run out of gas trying to deal with them. Then Jaraxxus/Alexstrasza healing seals the match.
It's nice to play a deck where the match isn't over until it's over!

But yes, this kinda works. I personally think the watchers are the essential control tools in handlock, and Souls make them even more useful. And they single-handedly won me 2 matches against freeze mage. Imagine turn 6, mage has like 13hp, pulls blizzard on your giants/watchers, thinking she bought herself some time, and you just play WS and crush her face.

she is mainly used in shaman and warrior as i have seen. if you like those classes then this is a safe craft. i personally think she also has potential with mage and priest.

nice post and nice read all in all. some random personal thoughts here lol. i think secret pally and murloc shaman will be the top aggro decks because the synergy of both decks are good in the upcoming meta with aggro druid as runner-up ( i cannot imagine this for now).
warrior and rogue seems like a very well-rounded class with the new year of hs. i think shaman is overrated at the moment but murloc shaman is great no doubt. oh i think warlock class in general is very underrated too.
what else, midrange still has that same annoyance as usual. mech types and spell types could be underrated too but who knows? i am not a fan of hunter ever since so i am sorry!
priest identity has now been resurrection. annoying once it gets late and silence priest seems interesting. it has better tempo now. hmmm mage seems all over the place i cannot imagine the class right now but i would love to have a control mage variant on the meta as always. im a fan! my personal favorite ros card is desperate measures! not stating my reasons. i hate the most is catrina muerte. not stating my reasons.
1
its all midrange hunter with master call and dire frenzy rank 4 to rank 1. meta is better in my opinion because there is lesser rng involved now but i cannot wait for an expansion. hoping for a hunter nerf and a buff to warrior and shaman.
2
who made this deck? this is extremely tough matchup for odd and control mages. solid deck with a lot of synergy. i would -hymn +mass dispell or word death.
3
i use tinkmaster in my controlock deck. works really good against taunt druid.
7
these changes are fine imo. nothing special but what i would like to see is improve the rewards to push people to playing more and work harder to improve their ranks.

deck sucks in ladder only good against razakuus priest. not intended for laddering
2
oh so you also use it to deny it from being silenced. i see. the other pact was good against opponent demons as well but i can see that dark pact is indeed the wiser choice for this deck.. one last thing, if you have the choice to switch geist, what's the best card for that spot? im loving rin.
2
nice deck. is dark pact a necessity? and is it better than sacri pact?

gadgetzan for lyra. velen is tough to change since there's so much synergy. probably tar creeper/shadow word:horror if meta is more aggro. you can try elise as well. or change both for shadow word: horror and pint sized potion. good for aggro as well
