One of my favorite expansions solely based off the fact that dungeon run is a blasty blast. Standard meta isn't all that boring actually. There are viable and highly played aggro, control, combo, and midrange decks. Am I missing something? Every class except for 2 have at least 2 viable decks (viable does not mean top tier).
Yeah , and the fact that the HCT championship dekcs are warlock,priest + other 2 classes out of witch its mostly druid and rouge doesn't contradict you at all.And why others are saying its boring1.Cause of Op cards and a game is decided which of the 2 players draws his op card first /or op combo first.Your being punished for having a bad draw/ him having a good one and losing by turn 4-6 cause of it2. Cause you can't experiment at all,not only is ranked full of meta copy pasta decks but so is casual to a 80% degree . Now here some will tell you "If you want to experiment go to wild" Ignore the fact that players in wild will play cards that don't appear in standard and you need to alter your play style of the deck accordingly , not to mention the shift from casual and wild casual is something like Hard to Very Easy giving you again inconsistent data cause of the huge gap between the game levelsThe professional players, playing for MONEY, are using the TIER ONE BEST decks in a tourney??? You can experiment all you want to. If you want to be the best and Rank 1 you have to play the best possible deck. It's that simple. Take ANY other competitive game. MOBAs if you pick some janky experiment comp you will get stomped. Gotta play whats good, MMORPGs you gotta have the best gear if you want to compete in top level PvP, can't experiment with different sets because you're a super cool creative motherfucker.Please reread all the nonsense you just typed out and think a little more thoughtfully and logically. This game has a HUGE amount of players. The players will, in time, find THE BEST possible decks to play. All things equal, good draws and bad draws aside, skill level aside, There will ALWAYS be a best combination of cards that perform better than others, regardless of how much experimenting is done. THEN you EXPECT people to not play those when they are trying to rank as highly as possible??? The fuck kind of logic is that. "Hey bro, I know you want to hit rank one legend and stroke that epeen, but could you please do so by experimenting and not playing the best decks?"Per Tempostorms Meta Snapshot there is a Combo, Aggro, Control, and Tempo deck in tier one right now. Each from a different class.... WTF MORE DO YOU WANT?? If you don't like the decks play that's a personal opinion and have at it but don't say it's a boring meta or people are lazy or whatever the fuck other excuses you got. You just don't like the good decks. That's fine. It's not the metas fault, it's your personal preference to play some crazy ass combo oriented decks and them be the absolute best. JESUS FUCK. All you would need to do is spend 200 dust to finish the 1 Alleycat, 1 Candleshot, and 2 Crackling Razormaw. Sub the Bittertide Hydra for Savannah Highmane until you can craft. Much more potent deck with the hydras but Highmanes should take you to rank 10 if you're a patient and skilled enough player.
You're also only about 300 or so dust off a very solid Prince Keleseth Warlock Zoo. 700 Dust for a good Tempo Rogue.
Lastly I would work towards some Mage decks. You have all the new Mage Legendaries and nothing to go with them. They are lonely :( Work towards http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1019156-hotmeowths-big-spell-mage-top-50-legend if you want to build a good Mage deck. Youre actually pretty close 2100k Dust. Only missing Medivh, the Guardian, 1 Dragon's Fury, and the Firelands Portal's
But medivh, firelands portals are from expansion, not sure which wing will you get them but spending 700 gold on each wing to unlock these cards just seems unnecessary given the rotation coming in few months. -

its not meant to be a deck you can take into ranked past say rank 5, it was just a fun project to see if i could create a deck based around something that isnt usualy used. its more of a fun deck to play around with in casual or friend matches
i do really like the ancestral healing + injured blade master combo though, and i will edit out the mountain for another sea giant, im pretty sure its better here. and farsight can actualy prove to be very good, and with this deck i find myself just totem passing alot so farsight opens up options like early giants or things like a 3 cost fire elemental or free feral spirits

I'm doing a little better since my earlier post. Won a few matches.
The OTK Combo requires that you have played at least 2 Abominations. Then Hadronox to resummon them for a total of 4. Hadronox must be killed or naturialized to be able to draw with Witching Hour.
Once the above conditions are met. Spirit Singer Umbra > Deathspeaker (so it can not die this turn) > Witching Hour
Hadronox will summon 4 Abominations (maybe 3 if an applebaum has died). they will do 4 damage each (once on summon from Umbra and once on death. Total 16 damage and killing hadronox and deathspeaker. Then hadronox deathrattle will go off again summong 6 more (maybe 4 if you get 2 applebaums) for a total of 24 damage this time. 40 damage total.

I agree here. You've got the call to arms that makes non murloc paladin work. Then every other recruit is just kinda like.... MEH.
I mean I get it. If you have a minion that pulls another on to the field it needs to be weaker than the average for that mana slot, BUT most of them are so weak that even a recruit gets out-valued by cards like corridor creeper, bonemare, cubes etc.

Unlucky I guess. I just get really bad draws tonight. 4-6. Technically 5-6 but one was a turn 2 concede so I wont count it. I am notice, If I do lose, it's usually to more agressive decks before turn 8. So, Medivh isn't really a factor then, I just don't draw what I need. I bet it would feel better with Medivh. I have DE'd a lot of stuff I regret lol. I am very impatient and dust things to craft a deck only to realize I used to have something to play a new deck I want to try

Gonna give it some more time but so far im 1-3, very frustrating draws with this deck. I'm finding there is not enough card draw in this deck to support the hybrid style it's trying to pull off. Maybe i'm playing it wrong but i'm following mulligan guide to a T and getting wrecked.
Edit: I dusted my Medivh because I had never used him once and he's rotating soon. Put in Thalnos for the extra cycle and 3 damage volcnics vs locks.

I'm enjoying this deck so far. Only about 10 games with it and I know i'm misplaying often. I was stuck at rank 14 for awhile sometimes dropping to 15, but now i'm almost to 12. Feels good and fun to play. I tweaked it to be a little more aggro, adding jade claws, the other firefly, in place of the removal like lightning and hex. Ive yet to feel "man if only I had the lightning storm or 2 damage portal." Will try the other way too though when I hit a wall. Good deck, thanks.

Yes its a very small change. I just find it to help with some of the less favored match ups. Like shaman. Getting a 5/5 to 8/5 argent squire or other small minion early is huge if they don't have their wolves or earth shock. I haven't found myself ever losing because I didn't have a second Hammer

Really enjoying this deck. Fun to play. I dropped one hammer of wrath for one BoK. Because 10/6 leeroy is scary

Looks good on paper. Im wanting to give it a shot as i've been floating between 9-10 for the last few days. I don't have illidan though. Perhaps subbing him out for the 6/6 class demon?
