no way they should remove the interaction because of this, theres no other card that we can argue should be destroyed because this is the only minon that replaces your hero, so its not a hero card like some people seem to insist after all you can get lord J on board. I understand the frustation but for me removing it is only making Jaraxxus a hero card that says minion for some reason, Zephyr will eventually go and Jaraxxus will stay so you can complain about him not being playable for some other reason
Zephrys will eventually go, but the technology will remain, so I wouldn't be surprise to see the effect of Zephrys back, maybe in some high cost card. Moreover, I recall you that Sac Pact cost 0 mana, so destroying a hero at 0 mana is too much. Considering that it can already allow you to destroy an enemy demon is already strong enough for a 0 cost card.
The problem with Combo Prist is that in this expansion it has gained:
- A 1 minion that gives +0/2 (which is as powerful as a lackey)
-The 2/3 taunt which can heal up to 1 2/6
-A minion which heals completely. This is insane because just with a 4/1 in play, you can easily heal it to a 4/7 or a 4/9, use one Divine Spirit and win the game. This problem would persist even if it just healed one minion. And you cannot count on a Taunt minion because of the 0 cost silence.
The solution: probably Divine Spirit should go to the Hall of Fame and maybe the Cleric go back to 2 mana, as it was initially planned, since its draw potential is too strong to be a one cost card.
Zeprhys played winrate in murloc paladin is 48%. Hardly overpowered.
The only meta deck in the game currently, where Zeprhys has above average winrate is a highlander hunter and mage.
Statistics can be deceiving if read wrongly. Have you thought that the reason could be that people just play Zephrys when they are in a bad situation? I mean, in Murlock Paladin your main plan is to beat your opponent with the 7 murlock in turn 5, not to play Zephrys. Normally, when you play it is that your Murlocks have been eliminated so if he can takes some wins out of there, it already does his job.

For those who defend that Sacrificial Pact should kill Jaraxxus, then should Assesinate of the Rogue kill any human hero? For me that interaction is completely negative for the game

I love cards game, trying always to improve game and teaching and talking about it.

I agree. It is a necessary evil to keep the spirit of Highlander cards.

I warn you that MecaThun can be turned into a frog with Zephrys, which is why stopped using that combo in Control Warrior.

Exactly, the problem is Zephrys in midrange/control decks.

And he gives you Hex when you have MecaThun.
All the effort preparing this deck https://www.hearthstonetopdecks.com/decks/mecathun-warrior-uldum/ for nothing, because the majority of midrange/control decks have Zephrys.
