They never said that, it's most likeley part of the progression rework they announced for the 3. Phase.

Scorpyon posted a message on Opponents, where are the other classes?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from PewPewPiew >>Is it me or am I not getting a proper variety of opponents? Or did people quit playing some of the classes?
Sometimes I get one class maybe 3 or more times in a row. I added a pic of my HS tracker. This month I started a new deck and played 68 games.
I only played against 3 rogues, 3 warlocks, 4 druids, 4 priests, 6 mages and 7 shamans.
12 hunters, 11 dh, 10 paladins and 8 warriors top the chart.Did rogue and lock players suddenly stop playing? What about druids and priests?
Not sure I follow. Going by your chart, you had a fairly even looking sort of spread. Obviously the number of games played to verify this here is vastly lower than it needs to be to get a real picture. The act you had at least a few of every class suggests to me that all classes are played?
I mean you will always have a higher number of matchups against classes that are currently more popular than others. That's simple logic. -

Sanderman posted a message on New Gamemode?Posted in: General DiscussionThey probably planned to launch it during Blizzcon like Battlegrounds last year. That would mean early November. It wouldn’t surprise me if they announce it alongside the new expansion, to add early access to a pre-order package (which will probably be the new battlepass now).

parzival2345 posted a message on Disapointed in Hearthstone nowPosted in: General DiscussionDid you read it - it's clearly not a salt thread.
Except it clearly is. There is no constructive feedback, only complaining.
I'm sorry you don't like how hearthstone currently is. I recommend finding a deck you really enjoy playing, and not worrying too much about the playstyle of your opponents.
For me, I really enjoy even shaman. It reminds me of learning to play the game (with midrange shaman) and I enjoy the playstyle. Because of this, I play almost exclusively even shaman, and enjoy playing hearthstone.
Find a deck you enjoy, don't get tilted, and don't worry so much about overblown ideas like 'aggro never running out of cards' or other things you can't control

Kill_Dash_Nine posted a message on Disapointed in Hearthstone nowPosted in: General DiscussionFirst off - this isn't a salt thread so if all you're going to do is post a reply with a link to the salt thread then please don't bother. This isn't about one deck or card being OP, more about the general tone of the game.
If you have to say " this isn't a salt thread" it is. LOL

hillandder posted a message on So... no Scholomance Academy Adventure?Posted in: AdventuresQuote from CookieFamous >>Please don't. I don't want to be forced to spend exorbitant amounts of gold or money for access to otherwise uncraftable cards.
You get much more value in terms of legendarys for gold in adventures compared to packs, unless of course you have GODLY LUCK oppening them but in average you get much more from the adventures.

Personally, I stopped watching the "Blizzard Lies" video as soon as the personal attacks began. It seemed pretty clear that the fellow was simply cashing in on the latest reddit shit-storm - his own shit-storm videos get about ten times as many views as his regular content.
FWIW - the game has never seemed more F2P friendly. Under the old system, completing Dailies rewarded about 7500 gold for each expansion. Owing to no-duplicate protection, those 75 packs produce full sets of Commons and Rares (86 cards in Darkmoon), and about 15 different Epics and 5 different Legendaries. With the dust from duplicates, golds and trash Epics and Legendaries, any F2P will be able to craft one or two good Legendaries, and two or three Epics. Call the total 110 cards. That's 82% of the set, for free, about twenty minutes after the set launches. Blizzard also gives the F2Ps an additional pair of Legendaries on the Reward Track. After a week of play, F2Ps can easily have 85%-90% of a new set without ever spending any money on it.
As far as the new system goes - the new system was announced with plenty of promises. One of them wasn't "on launch day, you will be able to accurately calculate how much gold you'll earn over the next four months, because we won't be adding anything else to the reward track." In fact, one of the people who was called a liar made the opposite promise on the subreddit, weeks before the system actually launched - "going forward, new content will be added." Pointing out that the comment was made earned some bastard 170 down-votes (probably more, by now). Blizzard has already added 1300 gold to the track, after deleting the shitty late-track rewards - it isn't exactly unlikely that more shit will be added during special events or seasonal promotions.

FWIW - the numbers on HSReplays suggest that the card is already one of the highest "win-rate when drawn" and "win-rate when played" cards at 3-mana in the class. Different classes excel at different aspects of the game - if AC were a Warlock or Mage card, it wouldn't see much play. But it's not. The three Hunter decks which currently run the card already dominate the Mage and Druid decks the OP cites as "better" 3-mana decks - and they do fine against DH, with win-rates in the mid- to high-40s.
Instead of complaining about a problem that doesn't appear to exist, it might prove more rewarding to the OP to figure out why Hunter has win-rates in the 60s and low-70s against the decks he cites as having "better" early-game plays . . .

Judging by the HSReplays numbers, the deck has a 44% win-rate and 1% play-rate - a nerf might not be needed . . .

I assume that "work from home" orders have caused Team 5 to re-organize internally. We haven't seen a new Tavern Brawl in months, and the PvE content for the two adventures this year hasn't exactly been thrilling. I wouldn't be surprised if folks are being taken off less essential HS projects in order to ensure that the cool stuff is completed - the three expansions, and the forthcoming new game mode. All things considered, it isn't the end of the world if the peripheral HS stuff is sub-par, given everything else that has happened.

It's also worthwhile observing that Firebat's claim that the event "started an hour early" is dishonest - the check-in time was the check-in time. He chose to set his alarm well after the check-in time, knowing in advance he would be disqualified if matches began early. He took the risk, accepting the consequences, then bitched about it when it bit him on the ass, instead of apologising for wasting nearly an hour of everyone's time. Blizzard did more than their rules suggested they should have in order to accommodate him.
As to your point - Blizzard pays the players to play their games. Firebat didn't show up, so he doesn't get paid. They don't "collect" anything, though I'm sure they would appreciate any "good luck" you choose to send them . . .

Observing that uncompetitive, off-meta home-brews aren't competitive in eternal formats isn't exactly enlightening . . .
However, it's also worth recognising that the format isn't close to being competitively optimised, and half-decent players can certainly pilot half-decent home-brews successfully. Looking at the HSReplays numbers, for example, one of the reasons that folks are complaining that "Rogue is in the dumpster" is that Burgle Rogue has a play-rate more than three times that of Odd Rogue, despite having a win-rate about 13% worse - unsurprisingly, the class win-rate reflects this. Rogue is at the bottom of the heap, despite having one of the best Tier 2 decks in Wild, as attested by a couple of the sites which actually track the format.
As far as complaining about diversity in Wild - the power level in eternal formats typically reduces, rather than expands, the pool of viable decks. Despite having over 20,000 cards to choose from, the Vintage format in MtG has been dominated by the same handful of decks for most of the past quarter century. As Wild matures, decks will inevitably emerge which survive the perpetual addition of new content - this isn't a "problem" that lazy designers could simply solve, if only they weren't so lazy. Vintage would open wide up if Black Lotus, FoW, Dual Lands and the Moxen were all nerfed - but playing those cards un-nerfed is the entire allure of the format. If you don't like playing degenerate decks, or having them played against you, you probably won't like playing eternal - but not liking a format doesn't mean it's busted . . .
