Well ranked is all about deck building, knowing the meta, knowing the best decks, guessing what deck your opponent is playing etc. Ofc you can play the most powerful deck but it does take skill once you are facing legendary players so I'd say it takes a lot of knowledge of the game and the meta to be a legendary player which is 0.5% of all ranked players. But then again Arena is all about winning in any circumstances, so it tests your skill when you have to use somewhat sloppy deck with pretty bad cards while your opponent has 3 legendaries in their deck. So I'd say they are both equally difficult.
Yeah atm the only thing that rarities do in adventures is making the golden versions cost more dust. But we might see cards like "put 2 common cards to your hand" in future card sets, then it might be important.
We have seen a lot of nerfs to a lot of combos in the past year, so I'm curious what is your favorite 2-3 card combo currently? Mine is definitely Sylvanas Windrunner + Feign Death.
Honestly? I don't.. I just get so frustrated when a new season starts and I'm back on 20-18 ranks. 50% of people are as good as I am and 50% of the people have no idea what they are doing so I never know what to expect and I have no idea how to react to their weird decks either.. and it's even more annoying when I play against a priest and they keep healing up for 15 minutes and then they obviously still loose because they play the most basic priest deck and I just feel like there really isn't a competition because I know that I will win anyway but they still heal up for 15 minutes LITERALLY wasting my time.
So no I don't feel bad, I just try to escape from rank 20-18 hell as fast as possible..
So today I saw that Blackrock will have 2 class cards instead of 1 like Naxxramas did. But I'm not sure if it's a good thing... If Blackrock will have 2 class cards it means that there will be 18 class cards and only 13 neutral cards. So over half of the cards will be class cards. I also noticed that 50% of GvG cards were class cards.
So that got me thinking that maybe there's too many class cards. I feel like some new cards could totally be neutral cards. Part of me really sees this as a bad thing because I feel like there are so many cool combos that other classes could do with those cards. I feel like when you drop a class on a card it really limits that cards full potential. But then again maybe that's blizzards way of balancing some of the classes, adding powerful cards to weak classes and simply giving total garbage to strong classes. i.e. cards like Cobra Shot and King of Beasts to Hunter but really powerful cards like Goblin Blastmage, Snowchugger and Unstable Portal to Mage.
But what do you think? Do you think there are too many class cards? Is it good or bad?
This is how it's going to work: opponent plays Dr.Boom, you answer with Rend Blackhand, opponent plays BGH - Rend Blackhand dies! In general- awesome idea but BGH is still better imo.
Dragons are awesome but I doubt dragon-decks will fit the meta because dragons are mostly control and late game (unless they add good board-wipe minions to deal with aggro). But my best guess is that few months after this adventure when Blizzard finally decides to nerf aggro then dragon-decks might be a thing.
Actually I'd rather fight against Control warriors than any aggro decks. In general against warrior your best change is to play control while making sure warrior doesn't stack up any armor (Because of shield slam).
Well all of those "leaked" cards are actually fake. But I do think this is going to be the next adventure and it most likely seems to come out in April (We'll know in a week at PAX for sure). I think Hearthstone will get an expansion or a new adventure every 4-5 months. Also I don't play WoW myself but the theme of Black Rock looks really cool and and seems to counter GvGs "Light and fun" theme pretty well. But what I am the most curious about is that what if they will have Rag as a boss.. I mean what would happen if Rag would be a boss and you played Rags minion? Will it do something insane like Kelthuzad did with animal companion?
Having too many legendaries is a thing now? Dunno buy more packs? Also are you sure it's not just your play style? Cuz when I was 3 months into hearthstone I was still a pretty bad player lol. But maybe you have some bad legendaries you can de's? Like "The Beast", "Millhouse" etc. are commonly called really bad legendaries.. But overall I'd still recommend buying more packs, with in game money if needed :) Also if you have many legendaries I would recommend focusing on the Warrior class ;)
Well it's a beast, that is the most important part! Right now there aren't enough solid 3-4 drop beasts so getting a beast that is close to yeti is awesome!

Ben Brode confirmed it on Twitter.

I guess we'll see how good it is when other cards are revealed. If they will add enough dragons into the game this might work out.

I LOVE this card. It feels a bit OP but I think it will work out :D atm any card that encourages control is really good- no matter how OP they are!

I feel like it should be a neutral card.. But in general it looks great!
