I love the concept! But the card is pretty bad..
By bad I mean it's a good card but not good legendary. Any silence or hard removal can get rid of it. It has no useful battlecry effect or deathrattle so it's basically JUST a minion. It feels a lot like Twilight Drake aka. one of those cards that you have to work so hard to get the value out of them and then BOOOOOM! - hexed, silenced or removed . Plus if you think about it- if you draw this card late game it's pretty useless and costs you a good card draw.
I like to compare this minion to the druid minion from GvG- Druid of the Fang. That card costs 5 mana just like this legendary and if you have a beast it transfroms into 7/7 and it's a common card. While this is 1/7 legendary and you have to work so hard to make this work...
