You'll never get board control. You'll probably end up losing every game to aggro but having really strong matches against control warrior. They'll end up having so much damage and board control that they'll just ignore all your minions and face you.
Seriously this game just makes me sick. Laddering at rank 5 and all I face is boring control warriors who stall till fatigue and then burst you with grommash, if not some miracle rogue who does 10 damage blade flurry bullsh1t if not some lucky topdeck fireball frostbolt by an opponent that kills me. Feel so pissed off when I spent money on this game and I still have all these random uncontrollable situations. Any other game u spend about a few hundred you can at least have a noticeable advantage but this game? It doesn't matter whether you play handlock or control warrior or any deck, you'll get countered by aggro or you'll get screwed over by some control deck that happens to be even more controllish than you.
P.S I'm not complaining about control warriors being p2w because I own both handlock and control warrior decks. I just find it insanely boring to play mirror matches which go up to 30 minutes long and where the outcome of the game is determined by how lucky your draws are.
Save cards, win games. Play Druid, it's fun and flexible (like your mom)!
Joking, you'll cheer up. It sounds like you have a bad case of "I played the game perfectly". Trust me you still make mistakes, and the better you get at figuring out what you would've done differently the more games you'll win.
Yeah I'm on the same page... A very strong innervate is actually Burly Rockjaw Trogg. It forces spell removal, and sometimes people completely fuck up and forget that he becomes a 5/5 if any spells are played. I'm not playing Piloted Shredder in any of my druid decks.
Lore is a VERY important card in this deck. It's a sold 5/5 body, but it digs you deeper into your deck. It's a very good coined card or turn 5 card, but fits on curve very well.

Play Zoo until you get bored, then play a real class

Yeah I love helping people with Druid, by far my most played deck.

Highest I got was 2-star, but from what I read... getting to 5 is the start of the grind, not the end of it.

It varies plus I'm apt to change decks all the time. :)

When you go opp is at 6 hp for 3 turns and you've had Ragnaros the Firelord out for 2, so you try to Brawl for lethal...
edit: when you edit your post 3 times to get Ragnaros the Firelord to show up as a card on Hearthpwn

Where have you been? Implosion Zoo is very common right now.

Don't waste your cards and always keep in mind the big picture. Games vs. Control Warrior typically go much longer than other decks.

Best case Scenario, You start with Innervate + Keeper of the Grove and a Zombie Chow.
Edit: Check out my "Hunter Druid"

Don't attack with shade the turn after you play it, wait until it has some steam behind it.

This is the most common competitive druid deck (minus a few changes) check out some VoDs on youtube https://www.youtube.com/user/hearthstonevods/ ...
Also there was the Blizzcon Finals https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKawe53aknQ
