I have a love/hate relationship with Wild. I love the mode, but fucking hate Big Priest with a passion. More than anything that has ever been in the game.

Billie_Lurk posted a message on Will you buy the Rastakhan pre-order?Posted in: General DiscussionNo. I think it's time to stop supporting bad card design. For all the talk about the hero portrait just being a bonus and cosmetic, it sure is front and center of all the preorder promotional material and the main thing people who are interested in preordering talk about. The people in this community need to quit trying to downplay it's role in pushing preorders and how Blizzard is taking advantage of it's community by setting the precedent of these types of thing never being available again. It's not just an ego boost or a cosmetic. It's a limited time in game item that is taking advantage of it's community. It's inflating preorders and giving Blizzard the numbers to say "see look, everything is fine", but everything is not fine with this game. It's unfortunate but true.
If it was a permanent in game shop item that was five bucks or something you could make an argument against me. Right now it's just content Blizzard is holding hostage for the asking price of a full game and that is disgusting practice in my opinion.

Dendroid posted a message on inb4 new complaints about bundles (trying to be constructive while memey)Posted in: General DiscussionThat they added a budget preorder option for the first time is proof they're being conscientious about F2P players, which is progress. It's a good thing. That being said your post is a bit combative and seems to show a personal bias, but your point has validity so there it is. I think generally these kind of posts intensify hostile attitudes towards F2P, a pre-emptive strike so to speak.

Kaladin posted a message on Should Flare be updated?Posted in: Card DiscussionAll Deathknight cards give 5 armor and do a thing in order to help you survive, as part of the benefit to being a "play an expensive card" card. Anduin kills all 5+ attack minions. Jaina summons a Water Ele. Uther gives you a Lifesteal weapon. Rexxar does 2 dmg AOE. etc etc.
To change Flare *just* to remove Valeera's survivability would be very specific and unnecessary, and kind of destroy the card.

On the contrary, I think the new "destroy 1 mana spells from the game" is the card that was lacking for my Control pally to climb the ladder consistently.

You should try harder. The picture has zero resemblance with the art of the expansion.
Fake.

Nobody is acknowledging 'cause it doesn't matter. Ragnaros, Lightlord is a class card and it doen't cause damage on the same turn it's played.

(I swear I didn't see sashasepto entry before creating the card, but I will understand in case I'm disqualified).

I'm a completely free-to-play player so my perspective may be a little different from yours.
I'm quite a difficult person in real life. I get angry easily, to summarize it. But, in HS, in despite of losing more than winning, I almost rarely experience negative feelings. Maybe it's due to my aproach to the game, as I'm always expecting to lose, 'cause I know it's an rng oriented game most of the time, or that people play with bland and unfunny face/zoo decks, or even decks filled with legendary cards (in fact, those are the reasons I almost completely ignore Ranked, and play just the Tavern Brawls and Arena).
So, I always try to be the kindest player, greeting the oponent and complimenting it after a good play and by the end game, even if I'm about to lose. In fact, what really pisses me off is when the oponent act as a douchbag and starts GG'ing me all the time. At these occasions (and sometimes after facing an aggro or stupidly legendary filled deck), instead of conceding, I close the game abruptely (a useless protest, but I like to thing the other guy will be playing alone 'till the "Your oponent left" thing).
As a sidenote, I think our world is already too competitive. It seems that people don't do things just for fun, nowadays. Everybody feels compelled to try to be the best in what they do. We're suffering the Wolverine complex. This makes us anxious for not achieving this ideal, 'cause there will always be someone better. So, if I could give you some advice is to try to have fun with the game, not just try to win the matches.
