Manuelo46 posted a message on Kripparian - “Hunters will be nuts!!”Posted in: General DiscussionDidnt know kripp was the bible lol.
Just bc a youtuber says something doesn't mean it's true.
Tho in this case it is, I'd advise against taking ppls words as gospel

EbonyMaw posted a message on Kripparian - “Hunters will be nuts!!”Posted in: General Discussionfor those of you saying that kripp does not know everything, consider this.
just because someone does not know everything does not mean they are always wrong. kripp can be right, and i know he might not be, but just think about it. this card actually is good, you dont need kripp to tell you that, and then when he does you should not change your opinion to be negative.
he is right, he has given plenty of cases where this card works, and it is very powerful. just because kripp said something does not mean he is wrong.

Scorpyon posted a message on Kripparian - “Hunters will be nuts!!”Posted in: General DiscussionHunters already are nuts. They've sat at/near the top of Tier 1 for most of the season with DR Hunter. ~60% WR
This just solidifies that position IMO.

Malygoddd posted a message on The real Cards that need nerfedPosted in: Card DiscussionYou don’t enjoy facing combo decks so we should destroy them? Screw trying to have a gameplan besides going face and spamming minions. Long live odd paladin and zoo.

ctaquu posted a message on Dead game!Posted in: General Discussiondead is not as black n white as either fanboys/haters present it...
...it is dead to good/hard-core players/gamers... ppl who like to get serious about stuff... most of streamers (ex champs, clowns (ex. kripp, toast, trump...) are still in HS because of d $ !! and because they know that they can not get gold mine like this elsewhere...
...hs is becoming mobile/casual-player game... as much (easy)fun as possible / as little skill as possible... bring on the RNG!! bring explosive combos... bring polarized matchup concedes... print broken cards, then nerf standard to not give dust for new ones... make players feel bad/cheated/salty by making their's favorite characters behind paywall...
...hs will have it's customers/players... but I guess most of the ppl on this or similar forums get into that group... lifecoach left for gwent... gwent wasn't that good of a game in the end... as with many other... artifact is made by valve thou... we'll see...
and the game itself is not fun (for me and many of my friends that play it...)... you face aggro, combo decks... that 30% of time draw like crazy... can't do anything... you do not have a way to interact with solitaire that you opponent is playin'... then you are forced to play deck you do not like... and you get grumpy!! ^^ lets not lie: we all like to win, hate to loose... especially to undeserving opponent... and you think of leaving... but you do not! like a bad relationship... 90% it's a hell, but you justify that person/thing for that 10% of okeyish crap... and you invested so much of your time/money/nerves that it feels sooooooo bad to quit... I have spent over 2k $ since Un'Goro, when I started playin' hs...
tl;dr; not dead, won't be dead in while... in a terrible state... if it is more frustrations than fun -> just quit!!

Strongpoint posted a message on Dead game!Posted in: General DiscussionAnyone can type "Hearthstone hits 100 million registered players" in google and see that there are numerous articles that call them exactly that - registered players. So it is exactly registered accounts. Not players that play regularly, not players that logged in during the last year. It is exactly that > registered players. (gamasutra, gamereactor and other sites with gaming news say exactly that)
Some of those registered players are indeed active players
Some of those registered players play once a weak a game or two on their mobile
Some have left game months ago and may return
Some left years ago and will never return
Some tried it once, disliked it and forgot about it.
Some "players" are Morgl acounts, Whizbang accounts, and other additional accounts created for whatever reasons.Of course, Hearthstrone isn't a dying game, views on twitch is a clear proof of that. But this Lets celebrate 100 milions players! is nothing but a marketing trick. They want to make Hearthstone seem more popular than it really is.

Maximal_HS posted a message on Dead game!Posted in: General DiscussionAll it means there are 100 million accounts created, it does not mean 100 millions are playing and active in the game. Looking at twitch numbers, seems to me the game loses it interest with each year.

Maximal_HS posted a message on Dead game!Posted in: General DiscussionJust cause Blizzard reached 100 million accounts, doesn't mean the game is in a good state and there are more people joining than leaving.

On the contrary, I think the new "destroy 1 mana spells from the game" is the card that was lacking for my Control pally to climb the ladder consistently.

You should try harder. The picture has zero resemblance with the art of the expansion.
Fake.

Nobody is acknowledging 'cause it doesn't matter. Ragnaros, Lightlord is a class card and it doen't cause damage on the same turn it's played.

(I swear I didn't see sashasepto entry before creating the card, but I will understand in case I'm disqualified).

I'm a completely free-to-play player so my perspective may be a little different from yours.
I'm quite a difficult person in real life. I get angry easily, to summarize it. But, in HS, in despite of losing more than winning, I almost rarely experience negative feelings. Maybe it's due to my aproach to the game, as I'm always expecting to lose, 'cause I know it's an rng oriented game most of the time, or that people play with bland and unfunny face/zoo decks, or even decks filled with legendary cards (in fact, those are the reasons I almost completely ignore Ranked, and play just the Tavern Brawls and Arena).
So, I always try to be the kindest player, greeting the oponent and complimenting it after a good play and by the end game, even if I'm about to lose. In fact, what really pisses me off is when the oponent act as a douchbag and starts GG'ing me all the time. At these occasions (and sometimes after facing an aggro or stupidly legendary filled deck), instead of conceding, I close the game abruptely (a useless protest, but I like to thing the other guy will be playing alone 'till the "Your oponent left" thing).
As a sidenote, I think our world is already too competitive. It seems that people don't do things just for fun, nowadays. Everybody feels compelled to try to be the best in what they do. We're suffering the Wolverine complex. This makes us anxious for not achieving this ideal, 'cause there will always be someone better. So, if I could give you some advice is to try to have fun with the game, not just try to win the matches.
