Two of these are straight up the hero power on legs, so I see what you mean by a theme, but I'd say it's a bit of a stretch to include drygulch jailer and drywhisker armorer. Dudes and armor are not strictly hero power themes, but more like class identity. Getting three dudes in your hand or gaining board-dependent armor are not the same effects as the hero powers.

Kalkans posted a message on Main Problem with HearthstonePosted in: General DiscussionI have to say, this post is not about being mad / being toxic about anything game related. I will / want you guys to talk about one of the biggest reasons why its getting less and less players every set. Its lack of updates.
Every online game has to update / add / change / rework at sometime. Like a new game mode, or hero, or even a new play style. Like in League of Legends the team reworks an old champion every 2-3 months, adds new game modes to time to time and it changes the play style radically with its seasons. This surely keeps the game fresh and fun to play. This also makes the players to have fun as they are testing / playing a new style to play. If you are familiar with online games you have to know that this is an essential part of it as not bringing any new things and playing same thing over and over becomes boring at some point.
That's where Hearthstone enters. Don't get me wrong, I have played this game for 3-4 years, which I do not regret a bit. When I started it it felt like an easy and a fast game where I could collect cards, battle, open packs etc. As I continued playing I realised that HS was actually even bigger as it had an meta, arena (which I was getting max 2 wins before) and even a e-sports. After realising this I began to climb the ladder first and had super fun. This went for a year and I began to get bored of it. Matches, cards, sets were not exciting as the old ones, especially KoFT. Even the card reveals were getting boring when Brode left the team.
After not playing for a while I decided to come back and thought about how the game's everything was same as it was 3 years ago. There weren't any new things at all. Everything was the same. Except the sets of course, which do get bring anything new at all these days (Boomsday, Rastakhan, Wİtchwood except Baku kappa). Even the adventures were the same as the Dungeon run type (which i do like but again nothing new). Like they could have added the tournament mode they promised for or a 2v2 mode or even a new class or anything that hasn't been in HS. I believe this is a really big downside of the game and its the reason why its popularity is decreasing.
Again Im not here to be toxic, but this is a serious problem with the game. Heck even those mobile games, Clash of Clans, Candy Crush etc. has updated their game more than any other! Is Blizzard that poor? Are they just an small indie company? I know its hard to print new arts / mechanics / animations etc. But as I said, sets bring nothing but only some cash to them. Please Blizzard I don't want to see one of my fav. game dying / rotting like this. For the love of god update it and bring something new.

robert_fanr posted a message on Hearthstone Ranked Play Changes Coming February - A Faster ClimbPosted in: NewsI agree with you except for the fact that reaching legend is actually very hard.
Not because laddering itself is hard, but simply because you have to spend so many hours to achieve it.
Not everybody is a pro who's only job is hearthstone.
Most people barely have time to play a couple of games per day at most, and in those conditions it's almost impossible to reach legend, no matter how well you play.

Psy_Kik posted a message on All playable cards are either epic or legendary AGAIN just like in KobolsPosted in: General DiscussionThe real problem is when you have epics and legendaries that synergise with other epics and legendaries in one deck for one class, usually across multiple expansions, and if you miss just one, you might as well call them all useless. I don't really like this force feeding of expensive deck archetypes - but on the other hand blizzard is giving out more free packs than ever before, and they've stopped people getting dupe legendaries in packs...
They give and they take - pretty much what you'd expect.
I won't complain too much. Don't listen to people who tell you to "stop whining" though - it's always vital for consumers to defend their rights in any field, lest they get bent over and abused.

GetchX posted a message on A Chance Encounter is This Week's Brawl!Posted in: NewsPeople need to understand that Blizzard brings back these RNG brawls because they are popular among casuals, which is a much bigger part of the playerbase. They only have a fraction of the cards, so constructed brawls are no better than trying to progress out of rank 19 for them. Here at Hearthpwn, people have huge collections and it's an echo-chamber of "RNG Sucks!", but to the majority of the player base, random decks is their only way of leveling the playing field and are preferred.
On a second note, even when it's a RNG brawl, you can easily have a positive win rate. If you are good at arena, you should have no problem getting a 70% win rate in brawls like these (granted, this is a bit more RNG than your typical brawl). If you are bad at arena, you blame it on RNG.

Did you see the stream? Do you know if it was the same people who made the Esporte Interativo stream? I remember that one happened the same time that this one. If so, Blizzard needs to take action against those people from CopAmerica.

Tried with Nox and it worked.
Just select Samsung SMG925F and click on "restart Android", then login to Hearthstone on Nox.

I thought it was a thread for arranging sexual encounters.

It lacks a Deathrattle: return this to your hand to become viable. Or at least a Deathrattle: Recruit a random demon from your deck.
Otherwise, it's trash.

Why people is speaking of minions like Millhouse Manastorm here? The way Recruit works is putting a minion from your deck on the board. It's not any random minion. Or there are any sane person running Millhouse on his deck? And with this card on the deck, on top of it?

It's a nerf to Bone Drake.
Filler.

Great. Another "Win more" card. Everything the game needs. Only not.
