Why does your Discord account needs to be registered before November 4th? I didn’t have one, and now I’m not eligible?
It’s so you can’t spam new accounts after the giveaway is announced, giving yourself an unfair advantage. But discord is awesome, so consider this your wake up call.
Go to the tab where you can filter by specific card set. Select the “featured” tab and you will see the 23 wild cards that are free and currently available in standard.
The games in a good spot, we currently have a dual class arena and wild cards in standard even which is pretty fun. The last couple solo adventures have been well received as well. In terms of wild, many of the mainstays like Odd Pally, Even Shaman, Big Priest, Cubelock, etc are still strong, but the Reno decks got a big boost from Zephyrs the Great. Druid also has the Linecracker earthen scale combo decks too.
yeah, if you can get over supporting a company that gives zero forks about human rights and freedom of speech, sure, knock yourself out. it'll definitely be easier getting to legend with the drop in competition ;)
While big companies bowing to China bothers me, I know that these decisions obviously aren’t made by the game devs, they are made by the president, CEO, board members etc. So I see no reason to punish many hard working people over the actions of a few greedy people.

The main reason for me to stay playing hs is a bad one. I Spend 5 years grinding out a massive collection, mostly free to play, that i am not willing to through away now that I can always play pretty much every interesting deck. and i will not switch the card game for that reason. As long as hs doesnt die, I want LoR to perform great, bc that forces blizz to step up their game.If it is the hs killer, I will simply stop card games
You understand that you can play both, right?
Or even take a temporary break from Hearthstone and come back later, and all your cards will still be there?
Many people don’t want to make the time and/or money investment to play multiple card games. I play two, Hearthstone and Faeria and can’t see myself picking up a third unless something drastic changed. There’s real life and other games to compete for our attention after all.
As far as I remember, both Ossirian Tear and Fandral don't give you all 3 effects when used with Branching Paths. That's correct in the case of Brancing Paths because it's a "choose twice" card. The only other multiple choice card I can think of is Wardruid Loti, but that card text also makes sense because there are 4 effects but you only choose one of them, so all 4 effects get combined with Ossirian Tear.
So Ossirian Tear and Fandral combine Choose One Effects, but not choose two effects. Yes "all" would be more universal card text then "both", but we currently only have one choose one card with 4 effects, so they just went with both.
If you're not running Phaoris, you might as well make do with Acolyte of Pain. Draw is more important than ramp if you're using Nomi.
This is almost verbatim what i was going to say. 100% agree
That’s not a bad idea. It’s easier to get out of your hand in the late game mana-wise and it doesn’t have to draw 3 cards if you’re nearing fatigue. It lacks the on curve power, but it’s probably more consistent in other cases. Good suggestion.
The idea is that if you already like your deck the way it is, you can choose the empty loot chest to not dilute your deck with worse cards. I picked it a couple times as Dr. Boom because I had a very aggressive deck and didn't want to be forced to take expensive cards that would slow down my deck. If you play as Rafaam you will notice that he has a treasure that reduces the cost of the next card you play to 0, then removes it from your deck. That treasure is there for the same reason, so that you don't have to dilute your deck with bad cards. If you have less cards in your deck then you are more likely to draw your strongest cards (treasures) and fulfill your chosen strategy. You can see this philosophy come intoplay in many card games. For example in MTG the deck size minimum is 60 cards. You can choose to play more cards if you want to, but nobody does because there deck would become weaker and less predictable. Sometimes less is more.
I played against a Quest Priest with N'zoth and double Mass Ressurection. Managed to fatigue him out because I had 2 copies of Plague of Murlocs along with a super juiced Shudderwock turn, but he had me on the ropes for most of the game. Also saw a N'zoth Rogue which was pretty insane because they have Shadowstep and Togwaggles Scheme to play more N'zoths.
I think we'll also end up seeing a lot of Sandbinders, especially in Highlander decks. It draws Zephrys, Siamat, Ragnaros. All crazy strong cards, which you can now draw at a moments notice.

Hype intensifies. So far some notable cards he combos with:
Kun for an extra 7/7 on the board.
Jeppetto Joybuzz drawing a 1 cost Sathrovar so that you can effectively copy any other card in your deck.
Shudderwock shenaningans, idk what they would be.
Dreampetal Florist to copy some giant minions.

Ok card, but cards don't get play just for having big stats. Needs more immediate impact.

Yeah this was also the case for me. You can't use your golden copies in standard, for whatever reason. I'm hoping it's just a bug.
