Damn, so much negativity in the comments. I appreciate all the new types of articles lately @RaptorWithWings and the other staff. Don't get discouraged :D For anyone looking for crazy games and decks like the ones mentioned in this article, check out Hysteria on Youtube. He makes lots of cool combo/hearthstone mechanics videos that many of you would find interesting.
To add on to the other posts you can often manufacture the right card for the situation, such as by making trades and leaving your opponents minions at 4 health to guarantee a flamestrke.
I’ve played quite a bit of Jade Shaman in wild and can confirm that it is quite effective. It beats many Control decks and has the tech options to beat aggro and big Priest. It’s very fun too.
I’ll post my list when I’m home later. It’s been doing quite well on ladder, including never losing to Control Warrior and it also went 12-2 in Brawliseum. It’s on the more expensive side since it includes Floop, Nomi and Elise to crush Control decks. Those cards could be subbed out for anti aggro cards to gain percentage points against Murloc decks or whatever else your seeing a lot of.
I beat Warrior quite easily with my Quest Druid. I can apply a decent amount of pressure and in the late game I have Elise, Floop and Nomi to summon multiple huge boards and run them out of removal.
I receive requests to fill out surveys from Blizzard from time to time. They are usually fairly short, and ask the usual questions you would expect like what genres of games I play the most, what game features are important to me, etc. Today however, I received a different kind of survey. To my surprise it asked me about my experience/opinion for many different games, including non-Blizzard games like Pokemon, Metal Gear Solid, Crash Bandicoot, League of Legends, etc. The survey also inquired about how much time I spend gaming on various devices. I was later asked to rank how much I liked various Blizzard characters and subsequently how interested I would be in playing a game featuring that character. They also asked which characters I would like featured on merch, specifically T-shirts and collectible statues. At the end of the survey there was an even an option to post a video response about who my favorite character was, and why. All together the survey collected about 20 pages worth of data, much longer then previous surveys I've completed.
I posted this mostly as a PSA to check and see if you've received the survey and because I think it's interesting to speculate about what Blizzard could be working on next. As far as I know Diablo 4 (and Diablo Immortal) and Overwatch 2 are currently in development, but maybe Blizzard wants to collect a lot of data to decide what their next project is. The merch questions also gave me the idea that maybe they are trying to gauge interest in new merch to be sold at Blizzcon, but that seems like they'd be cutting it pretty close since BC is only a few months away and design and manufacturing takes awhile.
What are everyone's thoughts? What kind of game are you hoping for from Blizzard? I'm hoping for even more continued support of StarCraft 2 and new modes and features for Hearthstone.
I think his power level is similar to Zilliax. I expect to see him in many decks going forward, especially considering that there aren’t many strong 7 drops in neutral.
Just want to say that I think Neferset Ritualist and Quicksand Elemental are both potentially insane cards for a tempo deck. Both allow you to take good value trades in the early and mid game, which of course leads to more face damage on future turns. I'm definitely looking forward to trying out my own new take on Tempo Warrior.
Nice looking deck but I’d say you definitely wanna run Dr Boom even in a Tempo deck. One card that allows you to pivot into control warrior and infinite value if the situation calls for it.
Thanks but I dont think I could outvalue CW even with Boom. Against them there is another game plan...
I’d compare running Dr. Boom in a Tempo deck to Hunter playing Deathstalker Rexxar in aggro. It gave them a plan B if their aggression didn’t pan out. Similarly I’ve play Dr Boom in pirate warrior for the cases when I lose my board or run out of cards.

Well I’m inclined to agree, but at least it’s getting nerfed to 5 mana in a couple days!
