Hey fellow Quest Druid players. I've been having good success with my build of Quest Druid, which has very 6 duplicates (Expedition, Wrath, Crystal Merchant, Starfall, Oasis Surger and Hidden Oasis). The deck has a lot of card draw in general, but also some nice targeted draw (Sandbinder picks up Zephrys, Oasis Surger and Siamat, while Witchwood Piper can grab Zephrys or Crystal Merchant). Between the low number of duplicates and the targeted draws, I often have Zephrys or Elise active much earlier in the match, with my record being Zephrys active with 17 cards left.
My problem I've been having though is with Nourish. Often times it feels crazy powerful when you can play it early, but if I draw it later on it often feels too clunky when I'm under pressure or need to empty my hand first. And if you draw it very late, in the last 5 cards or so then it's dangerous to play, but is going to screw with my Elise and Nomi plays. Of course the King Phaoris variants like Nourish because even if you draw it late it still represents an extra threat with Phaoris. I'll post my list below, if anyone has found a suitable replacement for Nourish, I'd be happy to hear it. The card just feels like it's feast or famine in this version.

x1 is correct, play in turn 6 in the very first turn after quest completion is way powerful, x2 is clunky and you have sure a least one of them will be a problem in lategame.

Yeah that's what I've been thinking, it just sucks so much to have a Nourish stuck in your hand late game sucks so much, especially in the mirror.
Helps with Pharroh, so 2x may not be the worst choice. I’m just a rank 5 scrub though, so what do I know?!
My list doesn't run King Phaoris, instead opting for Elise/Floop/Nomi trains in the endgame. So I'm only running one Nourish, but I'm even thinking about going down to 0 copies if I could find a suitable replacement. Nourish is just so awkward when you draw it later on and it either puts you into fatigue or wastes slots in your hand when you play Elise.
In my experience the Druid mirror usually comes down to the following:
The player who has drawn more is generally in control because they can play their Cenerius or juiced up King Phaoris chains first.
The exception is if one or both players are running Chef Nomi. The player who is behind on draw often has to save their initial copy of Zephrys to kill their opponents Nomi.
If both players are running Nomi then it becomes a dance of who can bait out Zephrys or the most removal pieces before playing Nomi.
Another option to deal with Nomi is to play Loti and leave it in stealth the turn before they play Nomi. If they play Nomi then you can play two spell damage boosted Starfalls to get the clear.
Generally speaking you want to duplicate threats with your Elise rather than removal. I like to duplicate Floop, Nomi, Zephrys and Hidden Oasis. This is ideal because you can stay alive while applying huge pressure while fending off fatigue by playing Hidden Oasis plus your 4 mana Nomi multiple turns in a row.

I run 2 Nourish on my Quest Druid for 2 reasons:
Consistency. A lot of games the second Nourish can be in your hand for quite a while but getting that first one on turn 6 or 7 is way too important. Being a deck that either does nothing or plays off tempo for 4 turns means that you have to pick up the pace as soon as your quest is done and Nourish is perfect for that, ramps you up and draws cards. You can definitely feel the difference between the games where you drop Nourish on 6-7 and the games where you draw it late and having 2 copies = more consistency.
Phaoris. Phaoris is definitely one of the power turns of the deck; it prolly won't win you the game on the spot but he definitely can pump out a lot of stats into the board forcing the opponent to use key removal or you push a lot of damage face. I feel Phaoris is decent if you get like at least 2 minions that cost 5 or more and second Nourish helps with that. You would obviously love to always get a full board of huge minions but I feel like the 5/5 Phaoris body + 2 average 5 or 6 drops is decent enough to justify the 10 mana play.
All Ive been playing is Zephyr Quest Rogue ans I just love running into you Quest Druids.. So much time to get my set up together! When I blam out your boards every turn with Tess casting Flamestrike and Consecration its so rewarding. If you are around rank 8 Ill see u around, I go by LiveWire and scream how I will be your death a lot : D

Hmm interesting, I feel the same when I face Quest Rogue, like I can't possibly lose. I feels like they don't apply enough pressure while I'm working on my quest, and after the quest they struggle to clear my big minions and Cenerius chains. I feel like they have to get lucky with their random cards to win. But maybe you play a different kind of quest rogue. I'd love to find out, but you see, you are at rank 8 and I am at rank 4. So you'll have to get on my level first :P
But in all seriousness, I'd be interested to see how the game turns out. I'm Revenant#1903 on NA if you wanna find out. The gauntlet has been thrown. You even have my decklist above, so I've got a handicap :P Come at me bruh.

Thanks for the response. I can appreciate 2 copies of Nourish when it comes to Phaoris, but in my non-Phaoris version it just feels to clunky. Do to the deck having so few duplicates I've been running Sandbinder to draw Zephrys, Surgers and Siamat, along with Witchwood Piper to draw Zephrys, Crystal Merchant, etc. They've been feeling pretty good so far. But I only really feel good about playing Nourish if I draw it asap. And with people trying to pressure you before you can complete the quest, it just feels like there's never a good moment to play it. Then later on you've start having hand size issues when you wanna play Elise.
As a side note, I think Sandbinder is about to get very popular in a variety of decks. Think about all the great elementals you can draw: Ragnaros, Zephrys, Oasis Surger, Siamat, Electra Stormsurge, and I'm sure others that aren't coming to mind right now. Especially for the dedicated highlander decks that inherently lack consistency, targeted draw is such a big deal.
If you're not running Phaoris, you might as well make do with Acolyte of Pain. Draw is more important than ramp if you're using Nomi.
This is almost verbatim what i was going to say. 100% agree
That’s not a bad idea. It’s easier to get out of your hand in the late game mana-wise and it doesn’t have to draw 3 cards if you’re nearing fatigue. It lacks the on curve power, but it’s probably more consistent in other cases. Good suggestion.
With the new patch, you could always run Kun the Forgotten King for a free 7/7 and 10 armor late game. Awesome if you can duplicate him with Elise. That would be 2 7/7's and 20 armor and a full 10 Mana to work with still.
