Calling the guys who made this deck one of the top decks on this site lazy? That seems like a slap in the face. Anyway I have been using a varietion of this deck for a while and have not been slapped around to hard for it.
You have dark bomb and mortal coil to deal with threats if you need them. Corruption is not guaranteed it can be silenced. And you want you health to go down and your hand to be big so you can play your threats faster and cheaper.
You really do not want to do much the first few turns. The Idea is to have a big hand for the Giants and Drake. Face is just a hard match up and I think corruption would make it harder for you because you are not playing to the decks strength.
I ran into this with my Dragon Priest deck. I thought oh easy win. No dragon opening hand, or first turn, or second, or third.....you get the idea. Plus one, even though I was on the receiving end it was good to see it be a rouge and not a hunter or pally.
It has the same effect as Abomination but it deals 1 more damage and costs 2 mana more, nobody plays Abomination, so why would I craft and play Chillmaw in my dragon decks?

Pretty sure this was down voted because the deck maker linked this deck in a control deck list comment section. He said the control deck was unstable and then linked to a non-control deck list to say it was better.
Sorry bro but it is a proven fact that 60% of the time buffer comes out 100%. Your problem is you did not read the guide. This is not a deck for beginners. You have to have a few years of hearthstone under your belt to truly understand the intricate nature of this deck.
Depends on the meta but I have found that 80% of the time this deck wins 100% of the time. Although it can so change to 85% of the time you win 100% of the time. Again it is all about the meta and whether your opponent uses the broken taunt cards. Right now taunt cards make it so you cannot hit face. I am pretty sure that is a bug and I report it to blizzard everytime it happens.
I have a little over 3k. I am not sure who I want to craft. I am fairly new to the game. This month I am just focused on aggro. I normally play control in card games though.

Dragon decks can normally handle the 3 damage.
