posted a message on You add a player to offend him?

whenever someone adds me and I notice they're salty I criticize their plays in a constructive way and tell them how they should have played the match differently. they usually stop complaining and have a serious conversation after that.

people who complain about games like that just have the wrong mindset. it's easier to say you did everything right and put the blame on bad rng or unlucky draws than to look back at what you did and think about what could have gone differently. players like that rarely improve their gameplay because they're always blaming the opponent's deck or rng for their losses, when they should be blaming themselves.

posted a message on Khadgar, new Mage Skin, on the iOS Store!

don't really get why people are complaining. this is only cosmetic and it's for charity. it's pretty obvious it's a mage hero because it's very exclusive and will likely be discontinued, making the first alternate hero for another class that exclusive would be bad.

I guess people just like to complain about everything eh... I'm really happy with this, affordable and helps with charity, will be getting him later on

posted a message on Mentality on Aggro decks in other card games?

Blizzard made hearthstone too simple, they tried to make it easy thinking it would be a casual game and it's one of the biggest games in the competitive scene. They didn't realize that by giving all the power to the attacker (i.e. the attacker decides what trades into what) they made the game much more aggro centered. That's why there are some games where you stabilize and get board control and you feel you're in that "winning position" and a guy just plays chargers for two turns and you lose, I think that's what frustrates players the most.

The netdecking also makes the game not that fun for some people, after running into the same hunter deck for 5 matches and getting BM'd every single time people just get angry. Again because Hearthstone is too simple, there isn't a lot of space for "fun and crazy decks". As someone who loves deckbuilding with some different things in MTG, this is something that this game lacks the most for me. If you aren't running an "optimized" list, you're more likely to get steamrolled.

posted a message on Weekly Card Design Competition #40 - Discussion Topic

This was my submission for this week, I always feel like rogue loses so many good opportunities by not having many cards to activate their combos on the early game, this would solve the problem but have a downside of being topdecked on the late game. I think the card is powerful and can carry games by overwhelming the opponent early on, but not to the point that would break the game.

Initially I thought of making him a 0/2 that draws a Backstab at the end of your turn, but this effect seemed more balanced and more unique. Thoughts?

Hope the effect isn't vague, had some trouble making it short and not overly complicated for some reason. This basically makes it so you don't need to play a card for your combos to be activated.

posted a message on The Dr. Boom of TGT?

I personally think blizzard is way too scared to print something as powerful as Dr. Boom again.
